Nashville singer songwriter REMMI has enthralled us time and time again both with her solo music and as a guest vocalist on many other rising talent’s songs. Last year, REMMI gave us a crisp burning, dreamy captivating electronic pop song named Awake, Asleep which swirls like weightless fog. Today, Philadelphia’s Speaker Of The House has offered up a stunning re-imagination of Awake, Asleep that takes it in a fresh new future atmospheric direction. This cool quivering, palatial rich remix is dreamy in its own way. It’s a seductive whirlpool of ethereal gauzy, buzzing vibrant beauty. Speaker Of The House x REMMI’s Awake, Asleep is out now and available for purchase from major outlets, here.

There has certainly been an uptick in remixes of Marshmello’s music lately, which comes as little surprise considering the anonymous producer’s amazing repertoire and the sky high Marshmello hype that has ignited this year. In fact, one of the top clubs of the world located in Singapore even hired a fake Marshmello to headline one of their nights last week, resulting in some wild controversy. Philadelphia’s Speaker Of The House arrives with the latest sensational remix of Alone, a treat that I did not expect considering how different the two acts’ music tends to be. Yet, Speaker Of The House has given Alone a stunning makeover, a deep rippling, melodic bass wobbling transformation that feels profoundly meditative yet powerfully propulsive. This is the moment before the crusade, when you realize how homesick you really are, or how much you really miss a person. It’s the moment of beautiful if poignant epiphany. As you dwell on that anguish, you’re already starting to formulate your next epic course of action. Speaker Of The House will be going on tour with Marshmello, and he’s crafted the remix to celebrate. It’s a free download, here

Philadelphia electronic auteur Speaker Of The House brings entrancing summer vibes aplenty on his new single Wide Awake. There’s certainly no falling asleep to this deep house banger. The cool percolating, soulful gliding jam is uplifting in a steadily meditative fashion. Wide Awake feels like the opposite of sleepwalking. Though we’re very much conscious, Speaker Of The House engulfs us in a sublime sonic abyss. We lose ourselves in its cavernous depth, as if lost in a dream. It’s hard to believe that Wide Awake is Speaker Of The House’s debut single, considering the fact that the producer has been expertly thrilling us for over a year now with his remixes. I’m certainly ready for more Speaker Of The House originals. Purchase Wide Awake from various outlets, here.

Y’all should know by now I can’t resist some good future house, which is like an addictive, thrilling drug to me. Philadelphia’s Speaker Of The House proves once again that the producer is a solid source of future house euphoria with his buoyant remix of Jason Derulo’s Want To Want Me. It’s been a long Monday, and I’m starting to slow down, but Speaker Of The House has me bouncing off the walls again with his official remix. It’s a lit remix that balances lush atmosphere with jagged intensity. The killer track is free to snag on Toneden.

Brooklyn pop artist Catey Shaw’s Human Contact gets a splendid makeover by Philadalphia’s Speaker Of The House, who previously slayed it on a remix of Ed Sheeran’s Drunk. The remix is part of Catey’s Human Contact Remix EP, out March 10th, which also features remixes by French Horn Rebellion, Mystery Skulls, and more. Speaker Of The House’s bright rendition is a spectacularly pumping nu-disco, chill house, and deep melodic house cocktail, impossible not to move along to.
