It only took a few seconds for me to become a Mazy fan. That’s how gloriously intoxicating the Sydney trio’s spacey psychedelia is on new song Enemies. The band, who just signed to Sweat It Out, have melded Tame impala’s glistering grandeur with Washed Out’s heady chillwave, plus they seem to have sprinkled it all with some of Cults’ charming indie/synthpop, too! Enemies, which arrives with a wonderfully quirky video, is only Mazy’s second single. The band released their debut single Heliar late last year, which is also a must listen gem. Stream the lusciously pulsing indie electro song below. It’s no wonder Mazy has been making waves back at home in Australia with their delicately organic, powerfully electronic music. Enemies is available via major platforms, here.

From what I can understand, an ‘eschaton’ is considered the “final event in a divine plan” or basically, the end of the world or the coming of doomsday. If that were to happen right now, I’d be quite happy to spend my final moments listening to this acclaimed project, Darlingside, and their eccentric & meditative new single, Eschaton. It boasts incredible harmonies as well as a lush, verdant, and whimsical soundscape whose chamber pop and experimental folktronica vibes recall Sufjan Stevens, with a far more of spacey psychedelic feel. Eschaton is the alt-folk quartet’s first single from their highly anticipated new album Extralife, arriving in 2018. The band is also known for their very unique and entrancing live performances, which I can only hope I’ll get to experience someday.

I’ll gladly “go west” and “park” at this “hotel” any day if I can dance all day there to these sort of spiraling synths and rambunctious beats. London based post-electronic dance outfit Park Hotel has shared an eye popping video for their swaggering single Going West, a spacey psychedelic, disco swinging starburst of dance rock splendor. Centered on the creative duo of Tim Abbey and Rebeca Marcos-Rosa, Park Hotel likes to explore the mirrorball-nori territory between alt arena electronica and wired downtown songwriting. The video for Going West arrives ahead of Park Hotel’s live set at Bestival and their newly announced headline show at The Pickle Factory. The band channels plenty of LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and Earth, Wind & Fire on their latest dazzling tune, which is available from iTunes, here.

Donald Glover’s Childish Gambino continues to blow our minds with the new music he’s been revealing off of new album “Awaken, My Love!” due out December 2nd on Glassnote Records. On the heels of last week’s jaw dropping Me And Your Mama comes Redbone, a gooey trickling, spacey psychedelic funk and soul slow groover much like Danger Mouse gone Prince. Yes, it’s that sumptuous of a sexy jam. Pre-order what could very well be one of the best albums of 2016, here.
