Who needs epic film sagas when we have a producer like Skrux to transport us deep into our imaginations with the profound depth of his melodic bass? The Dallas virtuoso links up with fellow Texan Missio on an imperial crusade of an anthem named Our Fragment. This gorgeous opus is a breathtaking voyage across space and time. Though we’re but an ephemeral fragment of all that exists, we’ll also always be that one part of it all. Skrux makes us feel immortal, if only for a moment. This stunning masterpiece is also available to stream on Spotify.

Missouri’s Saturn, who we’ve previously heard teaming up with DC duo SoySauce, joins up with Texas’ Skrux this time around for a spirited and rousing remix of The Chainsmokers and Tritonal’s anthemic Until You Were Gone, featuring Emily Warren. Her breathtaking vocals are vastly stirring paired with Skrux and Saturn’s majestic trap and electro soundscape full of clattering percussion and richly debonair synths. There’s no doubt this is a magnificent remix, one that really changed up the vibes on the original.

I’m a huge fan of XYLØ’s music, or at least, the two beautiful gems they’ve given us so far, including America and Devil And The Deep Blue Sea. I love the bittersweet poignancy of the Los Angeles based duo’s dark pop music. Texas’ Skrux takes Devil And The Deep Blue Sea and infuses it with his brand of Illenium and Adventure Club reminiscent chill, melodic bass, proving once again that he’s on top of the cinematic electronic music game. The remix is breathtaking and dramatic, yet so delicate and graceful. Download for free, here.

If you’re not one of my EDM-head readers, or a fan of dubstep, and you don’t believe me when I tell you that melodic, chill dubstep, or chillstep, can raise goosebumps on your skin and be some of the most beautiful music you’ve heard all day, it’s time you listened to Texas producer Skrux’s new single If You. The epic, dramatic song would be the perfect selection to soundtrack any cathartic, emotion filled moment in any dramatic film. It’s so refreshing, so crisp, so moving, that I was literally moved to sighs when I first listened to it this morning.

It’s certainly an electric afternoon filled with many remixes. I love melodic house, dubstep, and trap, so what better way to close out this particular share session but with this astronomic remix of Crywolf’s Home We Made Pt II by Texas based producer Skrux? Los Angeles producer Crywolf has been impressing and lulling me with his melodic dubstep for the past while. This intoxicating version of his track by Skrux, who I only stumbled upon today, is incredibly satisfying and breathtaking. It could be the perfect soundtrack for something life changing, something immeasurably beautiful.
