London’s BB Diamond spent the past year holed up in her studio with the likes of DJ Fresh, 99 Souls, and LDN Noise, but she’s finally re-emerged with our first taste of that new music. Man Or A Monster is a charged R&B pop/house track that exhibits BB Diamond’s evolution as an artist. The Shift K3y collaboration is both ready for the dance floor or those solo sing-alongs that help you get over the toxic relationships you know better than to keep around. BB says: “Man Or A Monster is a F.U to all those serial relationship cheaters and deceivers. In any relationship there is the good and bad, but when it all turns ugly, that’s when you need to get the hell out of there!"

As well as putting the finishes touches to her own new music, BB will also appear on ‘Raise A Glass’, a track she worked on with Ryan Blyth, which will be released via Columbia Records, in 2018.

Shift K3y is back with the third track from his forthcoming Off The Record project. This time, he offers up a powerful electro R&B jam named Still Love You. Epic levels of honeyed crooning and a driving urgency sets this one apart as one of Shift K3y’s most electropop leaning tracks. The 22 year old Londoner co-wrote the glowing song with Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter James Fauntleroy. It’s become ever apparent to me as I listen to the song over and over again that Still Love You has become a favorite Shift K3y original. Hit up Shift K3y’s Soundcloud to hear the other songs revealed from Off The Record so far.

Several days ago, UK producer Shift K3y surprise released Off The Record, a two song single. Off that release comes a satin slick, falsetto lead R&B house swooner named 2 Doors. The resplendently intoxicating jam is deeply sensual yet surprisingly airily breezy despite that flushed tendency. Hit up SoundCloud to listen to the full release, here.

It’s been over a year since I first heard of British artist Leo Kalyan, via his The Weeknd and Arctic Monkeys mashup cover. Today, he revealed new seductive single Stranger, a collaboration with the always awesome Shift K3Y. The electronic R&B track is satiny smooth and wonderfully luscious, with a haunting BANKS like quality.

I was just wondering what fast rising and buzzing UK producer Shift K3Y has been up to, after having given us some of the best house jams of the summer, and boom, this appears. I’ve been gleefully blaring Jessie Ware’s superb sophomore album Tough Love a lot in my car, one of the best albums to come out of busy October, and Shift K3Y has taken her soulful ballad You & I (Forever) and remixed it into a sublime house track with a deep bass line and plenty of Jessie’s honeyed vocals.

Time to shift gears now into some sumptuous house music. Rising UK producer Shift K3Y remixed himself. It’s not often a producer does that, but he’s been known to do that before, having remixed his own song Touch previously, too. Of course, I Know is a superbly catchy and soulful UK house and garage song that I’ve been praising endlessly lately, and likely one of the big chart climbing hits in the UK by now. On the remix, Shift K3Y goes much harder, and it’s really quite satisfying. Gone is the smooth slickness of the original. Instead, we have deep, reverberating, thumping bass. If I were at Burning Man, this would be the version I’d want to hear.

A few days ago, I shared the video for fast rising UK producer Shift K3Y’s potent dance track I Know, while fervently predicting the song’s future chart topping success and Shift K3Y’s sure to be rapid rise up the ranks of popular producers. For a deeper, thumping, bass heavy rendition of the tune, check out this seriously sick remix by Los Angeles producer AC Slater. It’s pure wickedness.
