King Henry is the project of New Mexico by way of Los Angeles resident Henry Allen, who had no idea that when he moved to Southern California at age 18 that his studies in classical guitar would lead him onto the path of music production. In fact, Henry has already co-produced on Major Lazer’s mega hit Cold Water and Beyonce’s All Night from Lemonade. A solo EP is slated for release later this year on Black Butter Records featuring guest vocals by fervently IHM supported projects NAATIONS and EMMI alongside this appearance by SEMMA on Gold Dust. I’ll no doubt have Gold Dust on a repeated loop while I await the rest of the EP.
