The last we heard from Los Angeles pair Scavenger Hunt, they were “sweet talking” us with their seductive swooning neon pop. Now, they remind us that we can have “Never Enough” Scavenger Hunt with a chromatic burst of retro 80′s hued, bright dazzling synthpop. This festive jovial, dreamy warm new single comes just as our Indian summer is ending here in San Francisco. In fact, we had our first fall rain earlier this morning. I’d be a lot more depressed about it, being a summer girl, if not for Scavenger Hunt’s radiant new tune. Whilst the duo reminded me in the past of bands like MUNA or HAIM, they seem to channel some electrifying CHVRCHES, Young Galaxy, and School Of Seven Bells on Never Enough. The song will likely be a part of Scavenger Hunt’s forthcoming EP, Shapes and Outlines, scheduled for release on November 11th. You can purchase Never Enough in the meantime from various outlets , here.

Scavenger Hunt swaddles us with a luxurious blanket of smoldering hot 90′s R&B and neon glowing 80′s pop on Sweet Talk. The track arrives as the latest single from a Los Angeles pair who continues to lure us in with a potent brand of seductive swooning synthpop influenced by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Annie Lennox, Sade, and Robyn. The snappiness of their latest song also evokes fellow pop bands HAIM and MUNA. The infectious pop jam will be the title track on Scavenger Hunt’s forthcoming EP, and it examines the dynamics and ups/downs of being in love.

Rivers may run dry, but Los Angeles duo Scavenger Hunt have long convinced me their wealth of rich electronic pop will never be exhausted as they regale us with their latest stirring anthem. River Runs Dry is the first single from the pair’s forthcoming EP, and it’s a melodic sleek, soft simmering synthpop glider thoroughly gorgeous and affecting. Gently wobbling bass and a torrent of cinematic beats give the song an atmospheric backbone around which wispy entrancing vocals enthrall. River Runs Dry sits somewhere between the dusky moodiness of XYLØ and the pulsating resplendence & breathy vocals of Avec Sans. The single can be purchased now from iTunes.

The release of Satin Jacket’s debut album, Panorama Pacifico, is just around the corner. As we count down the final days till April 8th, the electropop and dance duo formed by German producer Tim Bernhardt and vocalist Den Ishu takes us to new levels of heavenly ecstasy with new album taste Feel Good. The dreamy luminous jam (a new rendition of previously named song Make Me Feel Good) features sexy vocals by Los Angeles based quartet, Scavenger Hunt, whose soothing, feathery cooing give Feel Good a crisp and refreshing aura. As Satin Jackets themselves explain, Feel Good feels like “jumping into a cool pool on a hot summer day”. Pre-order Satin Jackets’ debut album from various outlets, here.

Panama Wedding brings me to such apexes of intoxicated joy with their recent single Infinite High, as they tend to always do with their infectious synthpop anthems. Infinite High gets ever more dance ebullient and sleekly glossy after a remix by Los Angeles’ Scavenger Hunt. The bi-coastal affair leads to a neon lit burst of disco jubilation.

LA’s Scavenger Hunt dropped a grooving electropop song named Kiss Me Clean last year, a song that reminded me of HAIM all awash in 80′s neon and Shura sweet softness. Kiss Me Clean goes glistening disco on a sensual dance remix by German production act Satin Jackets, and it’s got me swaying and jamming in ecstasy here in the office. It’s impossible to resist the urge to move to the lavishly deep edit. Free download, here.

If you’re wondering what’s going on with HAIM’s next album, which seems to be taking forever to take shape and emerge, Scavenger Hunt will more than tide you over with her grooving electronic pop on new single Kiss Me Clean. Except, Scavenger Hunt’s glowing, snappy pop is drenched in even brighter 80′s pastels and washed over with a tender, soft sweetness that reminds me of a combination of Shura and Carly Rae Jepsen. Kiss Me Clean is Scavenger Hunt’s first new song since the Los Angeles based artist’s Wildfire EP earlier this year.  A new EP is on its way.
