Australia’s Yahtzel has scintillated us both with his solo work, his collaborative material, and as one half of Carmada, but we haven’t heard much from any of his projects for awhile. We’re stoked that he’s returned with a gorgeous electronic track like Someone Else, featuring fellow Australian Savoi. Future funk and sleek electro greets our eager ears on this quivering suffusion of iridescent synths, electrifying drops, and creamy vocals. Snag this fine jam, here.

I’ve had this balmy divine treat on rotation for much of the month, and it’s high time I shared this cool island breeze of a tune with you, too. Sydney producer HOUNDED linked up with satin crooner Savoi to deliver marimba florid bliss via On My Side, a sanguine glowing dance confection. There’s no better way to brighten your day and kick off your week than with this sparkling tropical delight, out now via Majestic Casual Records. You can also stream On My Side via Spotify, here.

Though this next cascade of pure euphoria is named Hideaway, trust me, you’re going to be filled with a sudden urge to leave the house and dance your way all across town. Dutch producer WRLD and slick crooner Savoi team up on this buoyant rippling beauty.

Hideaway’s creamy saccharine falsettos and bubbly warm synths are more than uplifting. It’s almost as if How To Dress Well went lush lambent electro on us. Hideaway is WRLD’s first single of the year and marks his return to Heroic Recordings. Snag the tune, here.

As far as I can tell, it’s been a prolonged while since Two Can last gave us an original. But the Australian sibling duo have chosen to return to the scene at the perfect moment, just as our summer is drawing to a close and fall comes a knocking with its chill gusts and wet drizzles. Two Can’s new single. Holding On To You, which features velveteen sleek vocals by Savoi, is an end-of-summer sunset house jam whose sax and marimba fuels its retro nostalgic charm. Whether we’re holding on to summer, or holding on to each other, we all know that feeling. It’s hard to let go of the past, and it’s tough saying goodbye to summer and all the good times it encompasses. Fortunate for us, we may have an Indian summer yet. We’ll just have to wait and see, and dance our way through to Two Can.
