The arrival of new Satchmode is always a happy affair indeed, so it seems more than appropriate that the LA duo have made their long awaited return with a tune named Happiness. At once giddy and dreamy Happiness is our first exuberant taste of a debut album named Love Hz, due out February 7th. The song even comes with a video with a primarily female and LGBT cast and crew. Watch below. Happiness boasts all about Satchmode that I’ve fallen for over the last three years: sleek impassioned vocals, warm neon synths, and hypnotic electro beats. This debut full length feels like it’s been a long time coming, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it come 2017.

Los Angeles’ Satchmode goes pensive deep house on Undertow, a surprisingly dark and shifty turn for the duo. Their “undertow” pulls me into a strong vortex of funk tinged, slow burning passion. It’s useless to resist these searing tides. Satchmode’s slick vocals, sunset crisp guitar, and plucky bass swagger take firm “hold of me”, and I don’t ever to be released from this sweet intoxication. Undertow is available from iTunes.

Los Angeles duo Satchmode have the capability of sending me back to the 80′s with their neon lit synthpop songs. They do so again with Don’t Give Up On Me, a shining St. Lucia dance pop meets hazy Chromatics disco confection full of swirling synths. Its grooving bass line and creamy vocals fills us up with jubilant optimism, lifting us straight towards the heavens. Don’t Give Up On Me is one of Satchmode’s most vibrant songs. Its spirited glide and celestial funk will warm the darkest corner of any heart. Satchmode is currently working on their debut full length album, to be released later this year!

I seriously feel like I’m watching one of my favorite 80′s romance flicks when I’m floating away to the sweet and dreamy beauty of Satchmode’s latest. The Los Angeles duo’s new single, Further Away, is drenched in rich retro luxuriance and puffed up like a soft cloud with melting disco. Amour is in the air, and it’s called Satchmode. The weightless, glistening synthpop gem is available now on iTunes.

LA’s Satchmode bring back plenty of their swirling haziness on new song Afterglow, a glistening, reverie inducing dream pop and synthpop gem. It’s a song that will sending you floating high up into the clouds with its feathery lightness and weightlessly gliding silken vocals. I’m left with a long after glow by the song, which is the title track from Satchmode’s new EP, out tomorrow, August 25th.

It’s been a while since we heard from Los Angeles indie electronic duo Satchmode, but they’ve returned with a rich and creamy treat named Never Gonna Take You Back. Sultry disco and a swanky dreamy haze make for an intoxicating listen on the retro dance jam. Despite its lovelorn lyrics, Never Gonna Take You Back will have you on your feet twirling in glowing ecstasy. Never have I ever wanted a mirror ball hanging from my ceiling than I do now. Never Gonna Take You Back will be on Satchmode’s Afterglow EP, coming soon.

Los Angeles duo Satchmode released a new single today, called Hall & Oates, off their next EP, Afterglow, to be released come January. The song was recorded in their home studio and mixed by Grammy award winning mix engineer Robert Orton. It’s quite the saccharine, muggy song, bringing together Phoenix like vivacious pluckiness with some 70’s soul pop and 80’s new wave feels. I suddenly have the urge to watch some Three’s Company re-runs… do they ever air those anymore?

Los Angeles dream pop duo Satchmode will melt you with their new song Drift. Unlike some of the other music we’ve heard from them so far, the synthpop number is more uplifting and bright, but it’s still so airy and wispy. Drift is one of those songs that will render the world so much more beautiful with its mellifluous, optimistic pining. Revisit the more bittersweet, but still so gorgeous Old Fears below, which first tuned me into these fantastic guys. And while we’re at it, I’ll reshare the atmospheric Best Intentions, too. Yep, such great tunes… I’d love for Satchmode to soundtrack my dreams, any night.
