London based, Irish-born musician Samuel showcases a sensational style of airy music via gorgeous, languorous heart breaker These Days. His exquisite vocals are poignantly emotive and entrancing. These Days is a swirling, weightless dream, a melancholic yet sublime song with the aftertaste of an incredibly sweeping romance, a faded story to wax nostalgic over. The song’s stunning atmospheric production is the work of fellow British act Kwes. I’ve melted straight into my chair while listening to These Days, and I don’t think I can get up. The single will be out on Big Dada come July 31st

I’m glad someone fired over this sensational remix of Meadowlark’s luscious single Eyes Wide. The original reminded me of a blend of Zero 7 and London Grammar, moody yet so elegant. This re-working by British electronic producer Samuel keeps that opulence and richness intact, but he infuses the track with such a succulent, ethereal, and tropics imbued house vitality. It’s invigorating and soothing all at the same time. The original is off Meadowfly’s Dual EP, out last month.

I’m sure you’ve heard Imagine Dragons’ Demons before, as it was only a one of several massive hits from the Vegas indie darlings turned international mega star band. You may have even heard the covers of Demons by Jasmine Thompson and Hilman. But how about a tropical, weightless, and blissfullly soothing remix mashup of the covers to delight your senses? Norwegian producer Henry Land teams up with Samuel on a breezy, uplifting re-imagining which combines both covers created by Jasmine Thompson & Hilman. It’s like a heavenly duet featuring both their pristine, enchanting vocals.

Los Angeles indie pop band Machineheart’s incredibly catchy single Circles lends itself well to remixes, as we’ve already heard on a killer remix by Vancouver’s Vanic. It’s been some time since we’ve listened to Circles in any shape or form, so it’s an extra special delight that British producer Samuel has unleashed a weightlessly buoyant, chill melodic remix. I’m reminded of CHVRCHES at times, but with a far more summery and soft electronic backdrop.
