I have a couple pairs of white jeans at home, but I rarely wear them. They get dirty too easily, and I tend to be extra clumsy when I’m trying hard not to be. But I gladly embrace SALES’ White Jeans, a gently sauntering, dreamy sailing indie pop song from the Floridian duo’s next album. If I could wear the song, I’d dress myself in its cottony threads everyday. The misty soothing, feathery light  tune might be pellucid soft, but it’s utterly enchanting from start to finish. We alight on an ethereal reverie with SALES, who wrote, recorded, mixed, and mastered the song in their bedroom studio. SALES will be going on tour this summer, supporting one of their favorite bands (and one of ours, too), No Vacation. White Jeans is available on Apple Music, here. Learn more about SALES’ forthcoming tour on their website, here.

It’s been a year since SALES gave us their stellar self titled album, and we could really use some of their quirky left field pop right now. Fortunately for us, the Floridian duo are back to bathe us with a warm dreamy, jazzy lush serving of their fuzzy bedroom pop in new single Talk a Lot. The breathy curling, woozy winding guitar pop confection reminds me why I’d much rather “listen a lot” than “talk a lot”. SALES guarantees us no “bullshit”, only endless sonic elation. Talk a Lot is available from iTunes, here.

It’s a very quirky and artsy form of bedroom pop that SALES brings us on the Floridian duo’s latest dreamy gem, one which they report is heavily influenced by the solo work of Kevin Parker on the latest Tame Impala album, Currents. Ivy creeps and dangles languidly, its lo-fi gauziness a mesmerizing curtain of hazy rumination. The world feels strangely distorted when viewed through the arched cloudiness of Ivy, but that same warped perspective feels like an awakening of sorts. SALES will be releasing a long awaited self titled debut album on April 20th. Purchase Ivy as a single from Bandcamp in the meantime.

In a charming fit of lo-fi languor and bleached out dreaminess comes SALES’ new song, Big Sis. The song is the Florida based duo’s first since last year’s much IHM extolled self titled debut EP. Big Sis drips with saccharine guitar pop nostalgia and glides airily with a cozy intimacy. The song is available on SALES’ bandcamp.  SALES will be touring the US and EU soon. Check their site for dates.

SALES released their debut self titled EP yesterday, and they’re here to charm us immensely with EP track and new single Getting It On. Like much of the Florida duo’s other music that I’ve shared so far, Getting It On is a mellow yet resounding song, carrying much dreamy minimalism and endearing earthiness. The EP closes out with a haunting remix of their song Toto by producer XXYYXX, which you can stream below.

Florida duo SALES released a new single off their forthcoming self titled debut album. Vow is an endearing, mellow guitar pop gem, that, to some extent, reminded me of new Irish singer songwriter Soak, with its pastoral style and folksy vocals, but the track is far more lush and dreamy. If you fervently search for new music online as much as I do, there’s a good chance you heard SALES’ chinese new year a few months ago, or renee last year. There’s such head bopping, radiant charm to their indie pop songs. SALES is about to embark on an east coast tour come June.
