An unexpected and epic alignment of talent brings us Faded, a dreamy effervescent amalgamation of Said The Sky’s melodic bass and FRND’s saccharine sparkling electro pop. The flawless juncture comes hot on the heels of Said The Sky’s All I Got. Atmospheric synths and summery, sun-kissed vocals weave into each other on the divinely glimmering and melodic burbling union. Faded is a contagious heart melter of a spry endearing gem from two names that will only become even more widely known in the coming year. Its energy is invigorating, yet there’s a soft underside to this sweetly affecting collaboration. Purchase/stream Faded, here.

Letting loose a long misty sigh is unavoidable when we have Los Angeles’ Kwesi cooing tenderly into our ears to a beautifully expansive soundscape crafted by Colorado melodic bass artisan Said The Sky. They make a divine pairing on their joint single, All I Got, a sweetly melting, tingles igniting ballad with breathtaking drops. You can stream or purchase the heartstring tugging, poignant stirring electronic single via alternate outlets, here.

It’s been a few days since ILLENIUM dropped his new album Awake to much elated fanfare, and I’m sure many of you, like me, just can’t get enough of its epic collection of songs, many of which feature exceptional guest talent, too. ILLENIUM has been kind enough to make the whole album available on Soundcloud, here, but make sure you support on iTunes, here. Both ILLENIUM and Said The Sky are long time IHM faves, so we had to share the Mile High City production maestros’ collaborative track off of Awake. The two happen to be close friends. Their symbiosis is more than apparent as they combine their melodic bass talents on Where’d U Go, an exuberantly lifting, beautifully ebullient anthem that takes us on a soul searching celestial sojourn that seems to lift the weight of all our worries off our shoulders. Where’d U Go combines the cosmic beauty of Porter Robinson with the ethereal effervescence of Odesza. It’s that gorgeous a masterpiece.

If it’s a beautifully melodic, profoundly uplifting, and near spiritually moving electronic experience you’re searching for (to go with that immense eclipse moment arriving shortly), there’s no one more fitting of your search than Denver’s Said The Sky, one of a handful of game changing producers from the Mile High City whom we absolutely respect and have been devout fans of for a very long time. Last week, Trevor Christensen shared a gorgeous original named Pray For Me, featuring vocals by mysterious new indie artist Origami. Earthy guitar strums pluck at the heart while a vast sprawling network of melodic trap and cinematic bass take us on a high intensity voyage of exhilaration. Pray For Me is available for streaming/purchasing, here.

Fresh off the success of his honeyed melting summer anthem Love Somebody comes the emphatic exhilaration of Justin Caruso’s new VIP remix. The producer from Los Angeles gives 3LAU and Said The Sky’s Fire a heavy hitting, hard whomping, yet still mellifluous sweeping trap edit that strays far from Love Somebody’s dulcet radiance. Justin Caruso explains that he loved the original, and though this isn’t his usual sound, he wanted to throw it up for the VIP listeners. Download the glorious track for free, here.

Aside from a uniquely filmed and much riveting official music video that just dropped for The Chainsmokers hit All We Know, featuring breathy enchanting Phoebe Ryan, a seriously magnificent remix also surfaced this week. Even before listening to Said The Sky’s remix, I knew this one was going to stand out from the thousands of The Chainsmokers remixes that seem to be hovering about us at any given time of day. The well loved melodic bass producer from Colorado exhibits his masterful grasp on cinematic stirring aural magic with his windswept beauty of a remix. It’s a rather refreshing landscape to float upon, one with ambient shifting, timeless drifting qualities that brings out the ponderous and meditative side of All We Know. If you haven’t caught the video for the original yet, watch below.

A Seven Lions, Illenium, and Said The Sky track has to be the most heavenly of all collaborations. Prior to today, I wouldn’t have predicted that such an epic event would ever occur, yet the planets have aligned, and here we are, getting swept away by a divine partnership among the leading melodic bass producers of the world. Goosebumps rise on my skin as I lose myself in the beauty of Rush Over Me, beckoned by HALIENE’s crystalline voice and the trio’s three dimensional, mellifluous lush dubstep production. Rush Over Me is a deeply emotional voyage, and it’s out now on iTunes.

You know it’s going to be a marvelous day when StéLouse whisks us away with a fresh remix of a Said The Sky rework, especially when it happens to be the Denver producer’s beautiful re-imagination of Owl City classic Fireflies. StéLouse’s future bass Fireflies is wide eyed effervescent and glittering bright. These beautiful winged fireflies flutter and float, adding sparkle to the very world around us with their glow.
