British drum and bass and soulful electronica collective Rudimental teamed up with an impressive list of collaborators on their new single, These Days, which is lifted from their forthcoming third album. Soul pop sensation Jess Glynne, rap mogul Macklemore, and rising R&B soul artist Dan Caplen join forces with Rudimental on the magnificent hymnal. The brassy soulful anthem is available, here. Hopefully, the arrival of These Days is a sign of many more new Rudimental songs and collaborations to come as we await further news regarding the new album.

You’ve probably been wondering what UK collective Rudimental has been up to these past months. I have. It’s been ten long months since the group’s last single, but they’re back, just in time for the prime days of summer, with a new single named Sun Comes Up. British singer songwriter and X factor winner James Arthur makes a guest appearance on the euphoric lifting, steel drum breezy anthem, lending his deep soulful voice to the tropical house meets drum & bass dazzler. Sun Comes Up is out now and available to stream/download, here.

Brand new Rudimental is always just cause for festive celebration for this long time fan of the UK collective who have introduced us to so many incredibly talented artists over the years… guests who went on to launch successful careers of their own. New track Healing features funky soulful vocals by J Angel. It’s a deep house and garage jam that strays from the drum and bass of older Rudimental. A wiggling bassline and some classic beats makes Healing more akin to Disclosure. Your booty will be wiggling along in no time. Purchase this sumptuous groover from various outlets, here.

Thought we haven’t heard from Dutch duo The Him in nearly half a year, they’re finally back with a new Rudimental remix to reassure us they won’t stop delighting our ears with their magnificent handiwork. The UK collective’s Rumour Mill, featuring exceptional cooing by Will Heard and Anne-Marie, gets a massive dose of sprightly dance energy on The Him’s edit. Rumour Mill receives a piano house makeover full of frisky joy and sun kissed vitality. The crisp and fresh remix leaves me ready to abandon all work and dance the day away. “I don’t even care about what they say.”

Rudimental’s Common Emotion, which features ever brilliant British singer songwriter and producer MNEK, gets an effulgent makeover by Brooklyn duo The Golden Pony. There’s no doubt that while listening to this banging remix together that we must share a common emotion, one driven by pure ecstasy. The classic piano and summery deep house edit will be on a Common Emotion remix EP to be released on Big Beat Records.

I could always use some palm trees and sunshine, especially now, when we’re launching head first into the thick of winter. We turn to Swedish producer Cali to provide us plenty of vitamin D and tropical luster on a remix of Rudimental’s Ed Sheeran featuring Lay It All On Me. You’ll be clapping along to the heart warming house remix in no time, ready to march out the doors on a mission to hug every stranger you pass. Free download, here.

When UK drum and bass act Rudimental unleashed a collaboration with Ed Sheeran earlier this year, Lay It All On Me probably made a ton of teenaged girls faint in glee. Now, we get to return to charming Ed’s vocals and Rudimental’s grooving tune, thanks to a rousing, uplifting progressive remix by Canada’s Sultan + Shepard. As always, the duo know how to build up eager anticipation and make our hearts burst with the most satisfying, feel good drops. The original is on Rudimental’s sophomore album We The Generation.

Rudimental will be releasing their eagerly awaited second album, We The Generation, come September 18th. They recently revealed new track Rumour Mill off the record, and they’ve also revealed a music video for the song. Rumour Mill features two other acts I’m much fond of, including soul pop crooner Will Heard and London’s Anne-Marie, who just gave us her debut single Karate not so long ago. Together, the three acts create a succulent track that comes off more like enchanting Clean Bandit meets Tourist than the dramatic drum and bass power tracks Rudimental offered us in the past. The music video is a change up for Rudimental too. It’s a playful, adorable clip, versus the cinematic films of before. It’s all deeply endearing and sweetly addicting.

Most of my close friends and I were absolutely obsessed with Rudimental several years ago, when the UK collective first emerged with their powerful blend of drum and bass, pop, and soul. We caught them live oh so many times, each time getting utterly carried away by the collective’s energy. I can’t believe it’s now been two years since debut album Home, a record that featured songs that helped drive the careers of so many other amazing artists, including John Newman and Ella Eyre. I’m more than ecstatic that Rudimental is now gearing up to release a sophomore album, and they’ve released a music video for brand new song Never Let You Go. Though still very compelling and dramatic, Never Let You Go is a more atmospheric and pensive number from Rudimental. The music video, as Rudimental videos tend to be, is quite spectacular. New album We The Generation will be out September 18th.

What was I just saying a few features ago about digging acts who replace alphabet letters in their name with V’s? Add LVNDSCAPE to that list, because the enigmatic new producer crafted an irresistibly vibing bootleg out of Ed Sheeran and Rudimental’s collaborative version of Bloodstream. The chilled out melodic house remix is soothing yet invigoratingly uplifting. LVNDSCAPE’s edit is a beautiful melting pot of acoustic instruments, Balearic percussion, and deep house groove. He skillfully adapts the original’s drum and bass drop into spurts of frisky euphoria.
