It’s taking us awhile to catch up on all the amazing music we’ve been wanting to share lately, so now we have not one, but two gorgeous new tunes from UK chanteuse Raphaella to share. Let’s start with exquisitely aching ballad Imagine, the singer songwriter and producer’s first release of the year and the title track from her upcoming EP. Raphaella turns in stunning, captivating vocals on the emotive aria, whose nimbly winding yet powerfully stirring production and instrumentals are nothing short of exceptionally elaborate. We’ve all imagined how life might be if our relationships had evolved differently. Now we have Raphaella to comfort us when we’re feeling heartbroken. Lovesick, which you can stream below, is the latest single from the blooming siren. This one’s a resilient and consuming electro-pop track, with dark tribal beats. It erupts with unbridled, smoldering passion. Imagine is available from iTunes, here, while Lovesick is available, here.

The year seems to be kicking off with a whole lot of terrific covers. For our second cover of today, we turn to UK singer songwriter Raphaella for her sensational re-imagination of The Clash’s I’m Not Down. Turns out, the blooming pop starlet is a huge fan of the legendary band, so she decided to pay tribute to them with a monumental recreation. It’s safe to surmise that you’ve never listened to The Clash in quite this way. Raphaella turns in a superb vocal performance with her raw talent on the emotively burning, electro charged pop cover. We’re carried further into its restless tide by lavish billowing synths. You can re-visit Raphaella’s originals via Soundcloud, here, as we look forward to a promising year ahead.

We were first introduced to London based singer songwriter Raphaella two years ago when she bewitched us with her husky compelling voice on moody alt pop burner In The Dark. She’s since dazzled her growing mass of fans by lending that voice and often her co-writing talent to a wide array of songs from the likes of Cardboard Foxes, Michael Calfan, MNEK, Rudimental, Gorgon City, Wilkinson, and more. Raphaella now re-focuses on her solo career with a new single named Turn Around, co-produced with Brendan Grieve (Sam Smith). It’s a slick R&B pop and electronica ballad whose stripped back synth instrumental affords the perfect opportunity to truly engage with her smoky enrapturing voice. Turn Around is out now via iTunes

Belgium is burgeoning with some immense electronic production talent these days, and one such producer we’re going to keep a keen eye on is 21 year old Henri PFR. It’s a sweet opulent jam that he delivers us with his latest single Until The End, on which British songbird Raphaella enraptures us with smoky candied vocals. Perhaps this is a sign that we’ll be following Henri PFR “until the end”, considering how dulcet sonorous his summer breezy future tropical banger is. Until The End will be out on Friday via Sony Music.

If “thorns” were as sublimely intoxicating as Michael Calfan’s new song, then prick me all you want with a spindle of freshly cut roses. The Dutch producer forges a soulful pumping house banger with seethes and blisters with power. On Thorns’ smoky alluring vocals is British chanteuse Raphaella, who you might recognize from prior features and a guest slot on Cardboard Foxes’ Freefall quite recently. Thorns is a powerful future edged deep house spellbinder, and it’s out now and available from various outlets, here.

It’s been too many moons since we last heard from London’s Cardboard Foxes, but I’m happy to announce that the duo have made a return on weightlessly springing, exquisitely sparkling new song Freefall, featuring soulful vocals by British chanteuse Raphaella. Dive in and freefall to the cascading percussion and palpating beats of this sonic “waterfall”, an overwhelming river of passion whose invigorating summer radiance is a refreshing exotic elixir. Freefall will be out April 2nd via all major outlets. Pre-order now from iTunes.

Bewitching, captivating new chanteuse Raphaella is a North London based artist who’s half Persian and half-Scottish. She also has an amazing, husky, and powerfully compelling voice, as can be heard on moody, bold alt pop song In The Dark. Watch her brand new video for the fierce and passionate song below. The dark electro imbued song has a release date of January 31. With much attention growing on UK radio stations 1Xtra and BBCR1, the emerging talent will likely be surrounded by growing buzz as the year progresses.
