If you haven’t heard about this, you’ve seriously been living under a rock for the past day or so. At the Grammys last night, one of the best performances happened to be a collaboration between mega popular Vegas alt rockers Imagine Dragons (amazing how huge they’ve become!) and red hot rapper Kendrick Lamar. In fact, ID and K-Dot’s new version of Radioactive together was so popular that they laid down a recording of it today. Stream it above. It’s such a power tune and power match up. FIERCE.

OFFICIAL VID: Imagine Dragons – Radioactive

December 11, 2012

Hot indie alt rock band Imagine Dragons are hitting up all the major radio station holiday fests this week. It’s awesome how quickly they’ve skyrocketed to the top in the past half year or so with their debut album Night Visions. Today, they released a new video for stand out track Radioactive, and it’s an interesting one, folks. Featuring a bunch of actors (Lou Diamond Phillips, wow it’s been awhile!) and an evil puppet fighting ring, there’s no lack of entertainment in this new clip. I gotta say, that pink teddy is adorable and I can’t help rooting for it.

New Marina And The Diamonds!

February 27, 2012

Marina and the Diamonds previewed a new track titled Homewrecker, and here it is below. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite indie pop track from her, but it’ll probably grow on me over time. It seems a little more on the shallower side of pop than normal for the talented Welsh singer songwriter and doesn’t really stand out much. The song also sounds similar in dance-y arrangement to her last single Radioactive, which is the winner between the two by far. Her older tracks are definitely much more winning.
