Late last year, Houston’s own production marvel PRISMO dropped a sweetly lulling but breezy lifting track named Pretty Stranger. You can re-visit the original, here. PRISMO now offers up a different take of his own song on the new VIP version of Pretty Stranger. It’s still quite a saccharine stirring, melodic affecting anthem, but this time around, PRISMO has injected his track with more exuberance and a kick of lofty future bass energy. The end result feels more vast and expansive, exhilarating and ecstatic. You can stream/download PRISMO’s new Pretty Stranger VIP, here.

Houston based beat wizard and song producer Prismo is in the midst of a series of releases and giveaways which he calls “Twelve Days Of Prismas”, and the fourth track from this 12 course buffet of stellar electronica and cool swag is Stronger, an epic future bass anthem. Metallic buzzing synths and dramatic vocals embellish the heroic anthem, a cinematic opus that Prismo has given to us as a free download, here. It might not be Christmas just yet, but Stronger is well worthy of some Prismas cheer.

Alex Clare’s Too Close is a 2011 classic. I recall hearing it everywhere I went for a prolonged period of time, including in taxi cabs in Vegas and just about everywhere else. Yet I never tired of the sonorous anthem and Alex Clare’s spectacular voice. Houston based producer Prismo brings all those memories back with his tsunami cover re-work of the song, a glorious and incendiary trap, dubstep, & bass re-imagining just as powerful, if not even more so, than the original. Stream/download the heavy whizzing, bass throttling extravaganza, here.

While I haven’t watched Suicide Squad yet and have no way of knowing whether all the negative reviews are accurate, I am very deeply in love with much of the film’s soundtrack. Twenty One Pilots’ contribution, Heathens, has been covered by Houston based producer Prismo, and his rendition is monumental. Prismo’s Heathens, which premiered on Earmilk, takes a rigorous marching chill trap and hypnotic future bass approach on the infectious hit. The result is near perfection, a sprightly slick, electro prickly masterpiece. Stream or download the track from various other outlets, here.
