This is far too fresh and sick a mashup masterpiece not to give it a share and spread the music wealth to more of you like-minded music heads. Sadboy Sheldon, a producer and DJ from Adelaide, Australia, is apparently known for creating unexpected sonic menageries. A†ROCI†Y EXHIBI†ION is his epic Danny Brown and Justice mashup. You read that right, Danny Brown and Justice. And what a sixteen minute force of a creation it is. You can download the propulsive hip hop and French electro house emulsion from Bandcamp, here. Phantom is fierce and sleek, yet luxuriant and plush. It’s a gorgeous new stunner from Romanian producer ViLLAGE, who’s teamed up with London chanteuse Carmen Rosa on this lavish future bass and chill trap spectacular. ViLLAGE has melded the airy spry aesthetic of Whethan with the rich soulful alt pop allure of Alpines or HÆLOS. Phantom will sweep you right off your feet with its widescreen magnificence, brimming with precipitous chops, climactic drops, and vehement flickers. You can also stream ViLLAGE’s new single via Spotify, here.

Helsinki based dark experimental duo Phantom recently released an atmospheric video for their ghostly haunting single, Dance. The pair’s jazz influenced trip hop endowed electronica does indeed have the power to compel us to dance, but our movements are visceral and tremulous. Dance, after all, is an opaquely rousing ballad that more than lives up to the Finnish outfit’s name of Phantom. The duo oft draws comparison to the likes of Portishead, Morcheeba, & The Knife, and it’s easy to hear why here. Dance is the lead single from Phantom’s recently released debut album MMXII out now via Vild Music. You can purchase the album from iTunes, here.

We’ve featured Jason Gaffner as the guest vocalist on other tunes from the likes of Sam Padrul and Tyler Touché in the past, but it’s about time we focus in on his solo material as we prepare to disco groove the night away to his sizzling hot new jam, Phantom. The LA based artist swoons us with his sleek vocals and this sweltering dance funk meets French electro banger. Niles Rodgers meets Skylar Spence on this smooth Casanova. Phantom steams up the air around us, a luxuriant sonic sauna in which I’m happy to steam in for all time to come. The single is out now on iTunes

In the past months, London based singer songwriter Elle Watson has captivated me with her first singles, but she takes that bewitchment to a whole new level with third song Phantom. The song’s name is a representation of “a feeling that can’t be described, but something you can’t ignore”. Well there’s no ignoring the brilliance of Elle Watson, especially now, after she’s transfixed us with this stunning beauty. Phantom is silken smooth, but underneath its surface is a dark turbulence lurching and heaving with poignant emotion. At the center of it all is Elle Watson’s exceptional voice. Phantom’s gradual crescendo and powerful build evokes James Blake and Lapsley, while her sensational vocals are seductive, soulful, and smoky, like a blend of Banks with Lianne La Havas. Phantom is a heartbreaking, tense moving ballad, and it speaks volumes about Elle Watson and her talent.

I’m really glad my buddy Grant over at We Found New Music introduced me to EMI earlier today, because she’s dropping some spectacular music alongside an impressive roster of producers. The Seattle native links up with producers Rex Kudo (Post Malone / Mac Miller), Charlie Handsome, and Frank Dukes on new song HIT ME, a moody R&B and hip hop number with all the makings of a radio hit.  HIT ME follows on the heels of viral sensation Phantom, also produced by Rex Kudo along with Sven Thomas (Kanye West). Phantom is even darker and more haunting, its droopy production adding to the intoxicating effect of EMI’s mesmerizing voice. Stream Phantom below. A new song is ready to be unveiled when HIT ME reaches 200K plays, which shouldn’t take long at all. EMI is a name we’ll be hearing a lot of in the near future.

Finish duo Phantom dropped some eerily captivating visuals on a music video for their electronic pop song Over, a single that brims with spectacular hooks and lures with bewitching strings. Over’s tribal drums and Phantom’s enchanting vocals make this an inescapably ensnaring Kate Boy meets Lorde sort of spellbinding affair. Watch Phantom’s video for Over below, purchase the single on iTunes, and then wait for Phantom’s 2016 debut album alongside me.

It’s been about two months since a mysterious newcomer from Florida named ØRKA emerged from the shadows with Tell Me. The depth of sound and emotion on that track surfaces yet again on ØRKA’s latest, a stirring song named Phantom. The downtempo, chilled out electronic soul song is a drifty, gentle dreamer, with mournful, melancholic vocals and an exquisitely tender arrangement. I love it when songs live up to their song titles, and there’s something very phantom-esque about this song that feels very ephemeral and fleeting, wispy and evanescent.
