A trifecta of Moving Castle associated luminaries unite on Peanut Butter, a fresh and funky hip hop and electro frolic with much booty shaking verve. Los Angeles producers AObeats and Robokid team up with versatile artist Mark Johns on the slick bouncing, hypnotic cantering treat. Throwback vibes and sweet nostalgia abound as the trio bring us back to the early 2000′s with the crunchy swerving tune, which can be found on AObeats’ glorious new pilot mixtape, a must listen and a guest talent studded spectacular, here. NYC pop artist Alison Valentine is set to make some ripples in the machine. I first tuned into her work during summer of last year. That’s when I stumbled upon Moon Boots’ remix of her disco pop track Peanut Butter. Since then, I’ve noticed her name around every so often. Today, she previewed a new track titled Warm Winter’s Day. The electropop song is quite the throwback, bringing to mind expert Mariah Carey vocals with some Janet Jackson shimmery smooth R&B and a healthy dose of chilly fogginess. Posting Peanut Butter below again for those that missed it or crave something brighter, warmer and more dance party ready.

Time for a smooth, airy remix. Here’s Moon Boots’ remix of Alison Valentine’s Peanut Butter. Get ready for something super dreamy. Mmmm. There’s nothing peanut butter sticky about it. Below, listen to the original track by the NYC artist. It’s a good tune with some disco pop and French electro house flair and some tropical breezy feel.
