Windy City electronic marvels Autograf recently released a new four-track remix pack for their latest single Dead Soon the other day, and we immediately hopped on the listening train since we’re absolutely enamored with the dark romanticism of the epic future bass song, which also features Bonsai Mammal and Lils. Aside from superb edits by Scorsi, Golf Clap, and a chill mix by Autograf themselves, the release also features this remix by Chicago brothers Birthdayy Partyy. It’s a party in our ears as the duo turn Dead Soon into a very lively bass house smasher with rumbling bass and metallurgic snarling synths. You can download the track, here. Stream Autograf’s Dead Soon remixes, here, and support by downloading via other platforms, here.

Let’s continue to bring some chill feels tonight with a treasured new discovery named NAUUDA. The project hails from Norway, and the two producers behind it have mesmerized me with their chill jazzy hip hop and suave electronica on ‘up’. We’ve been having some wet weather here in San Francisco this week. ‘up’ is the perfect accompaniment. It warms us up yet and keeps us intoxicated from start to finish with its choppy vocals and foggy percolating beats. The track even features some sampling of a rain storm. NAUUDA drenches us with late night vibes and a snazzy groove. For another taste of the pair’s music, stream ‘party’ below, too. It’s more uptempo with its breaking mixture of house, jungle, and garage, and it even samples Alessia Cara’s Here.

Mysterious new project  N i G H T S couldn’t have chosen a better name for themselves. Fresh single P A R T Y drops us into the dead of night with its slinky seductive house. A twinging future edge and sexy R&B vocals imbue this inky opaque, dark meditative electronic track, a fine and decadent introduction to the exciting duo who already have several high caliber tracks on their Soundcloud, here. if ZHU and The Weeknd crossed paths, the smoldering vocal house that arises might sound something like N i G H T S.  P A R T Y is a free download, here.

Ever since Pretty Sister appeared on our radars with a clever cover of Katy Perry’s California Girls, one that even involved some sly Tupac sampling, the Southern California based project has been on our indie bands to watch list. They’ve since regaled us with some feisty enthralling originals, which they now follow up with Thirsty, a tune they tag “Z-Funk” and quite appropriately at that. Surf and beach meets swaggering funk, confident hip hop, and sensuous R&B on this thirst quenching, steamy groovalicious diamond in the rough. Thirsty is like a Bruno Mars and Outkast soiree, with The Knocks handling deck duties. “Get down, baby” Pretty Sister sings on their single. Done. Re-visit Pretty Sister’s prior genre defying singles on Soundcloud.

We caught on to Papa Ya earlier this year when the Los Angeles duo’s second song, a collaboration with Con Bro Chill named Outta Here, hooked us in with frisky summer ebullience. Though summer is now long gone, the indie dance outfit returns to inject us with an urge to get out and get down next to an azure pool. Sunny is a popping party jam with snazzy bass and feisty synths. The spongy spry track makes me wish we could skip forward to the weekend, right now. Sunny is a free download, here.

There’s no resisting the infectiousness of this next one, Papa Ya’s second single, Outta Here, featuring Portland outfit Con Bro Chill. The Los Angeles duo’s bright dance pop and colorful chill house is the soundtrack for your next big pool party. As Papa Ya says: “Grab your Coronas and prepare to dance your booties off!” You’ll be singing along to its jovial hooks and clapping along to its stomping beats, too. Outta Here is a summer party anthem and an unforgettable earworm of a jam. It’s also a free download, here.

Falqo’s latest is a get up and dance delight featuring smooth cooing by Los Angeles’ Wild & Free, a collaboration much heart warming and ebullient. In fact, it even features funky bass lines courtesy of Touch Sensitive. Someday’s disco vibes are strong, plus it has some very welcome cowbells, which I happened to be craving for while I was at karaoke last night. Sadly, we only had tambourines in our dark little room, but the Australian producer is here to save the day with his snap popping jam. Chromeo electro funk goes sleek luscious Poolside yacht party ready on Someday, a free download, here.

Ethereal is one of those more mysterious tunes dropped into my inbox, with no information to go along with it, but I was able to figure out that this mysterious Breathing Room is a mashup extraordinaire based out in Texas. On Ethereal, he skillfully fits together Electric Mantis’ “Flip and Flop, Drips and Drops”, SoySauce’s “Sushi Park”, Drake’s “Over”, Dorrough’s “After Party”, Travi$ Scott’s “Upper Echelon (feat. T.I. & 2 Chainz)”, and even Beyonce’s “Party (feat. Kanye and André 3000)” to form one big mosaic of riveting sound, consisting of grimy hip hop and ethereal EDM. Kind of crazy, eh?

Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS) debuted their new single earlier today. The Brazilian indie rockers always have such a bright, fun, party sound. This song doesn’t stray from that energy at all. I’ve Seen You Drunk Girl has some badass synths that sound almost industrial at times. Not surprising, since the producer of the track is none other than the talented Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio member but always producing amazing songs for other artists). I can’t say this is my favorite all time CSS song, but it grew on me by miles since I first checked it out. Now, it’s stuck in my head! I love the ‘tude. CSS always has such great, kickass ‘tude, especially Lovefoxx. She rocks. Love it.
