I’ll gladly “go west” and “park” at this “hotel” any day if I can dance all day there to these sort of spiraling synths and rambunctious beats. London based post-electronic dance outfit Park Hotel has shared an eye popping video for their swaggering single Going West, a spacey psychedelic, disco swinging starburst of dance rock splendor. Centered on the creative duo of Tim Abbey and Rebeca Marcos-Rosa, Park Hotel likes to explore the mirrorball-nori territory between alt arena electronica and wired downtown songwriting. The video for Going West arrives ahead of Park Hotel’s live set at Bestival and their newly announced headline show at The Pickle Factory. The band channels plenty of LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and Earth, Wind & Fire on their latest dazzling tune, which is available from iTunes, here.

Apparently, Park Hotel is a groovalicious place I’d love to visit. It’s also the name of a new post-electronic dance band based out of London creaeted by Tim Abbey and Rebecca Marcos-Rosa. Their debut single Gone As A Friend is a dark strutting disco dance rock spectacular, one well worthy of endless spiraling under a dazzling mirror ball. Gone As A Friend comes off as a superb mix of LCD Soundsystem and Talking Heads. Park Hotel is reported to have already played a series of “feverishly received” under-the-radar shows in London last fall. Gone As A Friend is out now on iTunes.
