Our obsession with music tends to come in phases, intertwined with different genres and atmospheres, timbres and auras, but it’s blatantly obvious we’ll never be “over” Stwo and the OVO affiliate’s fine tuned music. The Toronto by way of Paris producer seduces our ears and keeps us moving to a gentle groove on new original Over U, a chill electro/R&B jam laced with intricate hip hop drum patterns and soulful vocal chops. You can stream/download this sublime single via major outlets, here.

“Over you” is probably something I’ll never say to Enschway and this swaggering new jam the Sydney producer just dropped last Friday. Over U is a track that immediately grabs hold of you with its vocal hooks before shoving you into a world so vibrant and electrifying you simply can’t escape its tempestuous, impassioned grasp. Fresh off his Australia tour with RL Grime, DJ and producer Enschway continues proving himself one of the hottest bass music exports out of Australia right now with this creative future bass emulsion. From balmy, island-y euphoria to sleek shuddering, bass heavy exhilaration, Over U’s got you covered. It even features Yeah Boy (Johnny Castro of Parachute Youth). You can snag Over U, here.

On the heels of LIOHN’s Blue Pt. 1 comes the Swedish producer’s second enthralling original to date, Over U. The budding talent delivers us into the arms of electro R&B ecstasy with this ethereal bubbling ballad on which a mysterious guest vocalist evokes NAO with her crystalline soulful voice. LIOHN flexes his production dexterity on the track, crafting a sparse yet gripping soundscape that submerges us in a watery cavern replete with crisp echoing, damp rippling elements. Over You, which is impossible to get over, is available now from iTunes.

Closing it out with a more gentle, lulling treat from Chet Porter, who, once again, is not a side project of Chet Faker or Porter Robinson, just to be redundantly clear. The producer offers up a breathtaking chill trap remix of Dutch producer Hitmane’s ethereal electronic song Over U. Despite the sweeping serenity of Chet Porter’s effervescent transformation, his Over U is slightly more fidgety and considerably more whimsically magnetic. The “oh my gosh” voice sample partway through may have come off cheesy if the track were not spectacular, but instead, my heart literally stops at that moment and I feel exactly what that sample encapsulates:  awe and elation. Download the remix for free, here.
