Have you ever wondered what it might sound like if Sam Smith went vibrant electronica on us, but maintained his sweetly molten, satin stirring effect? I mean, we did get some of that from the rapturous remixes of Sam’s songs we’ve had in the past. But Lash’s I’m Gonna Be There encapsulates those vibes while triumphantly enthralling as a fresh and original composition. The Los Angeles based producer (formerly a duo) melds saccharine future pop with tropical house on the heartwarming and comforting dance gem. Purchase/stream I’m Gonna Be There, here.

Who doesn’t want to have an overabundance of dollars in their wallet? While we can’t exactly go out and rob a bank or win the lottery at a whim, we can partake in Crankdat’s exhilarating debut original, Dollars. The Ohio producer and longtime provider of sensational remixes makes it rain with a flurry of high energy trap and a downpouring of chirpy euphoric beats on this exceptional first single. Dollars doesn’t just pick you up and raise your spirits, it jounces you straight to cloud nine with its happy-go-lucky, throw caution to the wind exuberance. Download Dollars, here

Party Pupils, who are more like party teachers than pupils in my book, are back with endless swag on a sumptuous new jam named Patient. The Los Angeles duo dispenses a lavish torrent of sexy R&B soul and saucy future funk on this brassy voluptuous, satin swooning spectacular. Max Schneider and Ryan Siegel’s succulent swinging, sultry burning new original is a free download, here. Patient serves as the pair’s debut original. It comes on the heels of their ravishing singles and that jaw dropping, frisky hooking cover of Ms. Jackson, which you can find on their Soundcloud, here.

After nearly half a year with no new treats from Pittsburgh propducer No Sleep, I somehow managed to miss the news of a debut original earlier this month. My jaw dropped when I encountered Born To Lose today, then my heart melted into a puddle to the emotive beauty of this atmospheric future bass song. Dutch songbird Gia Koka’s sorrowful vocals only added to the effect. Born To Lose is a tour de force electronic anthem. It cuts to the bone yet drives us to sweet heights of euphoria with sleek synths and thundering drums. No Sleep’s first original is colossal. We need more originals from this producer. Stat.

Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of catching Chicago production master Whethan live as he opened up for Bearson at the Independent in San Francisco. It was one of the most thrilling electronic sets I caught all year. The sold out crowd ate it up ravenously and lost it to his music to no end. Whethan, formerly known as Wheathin, has just released his very first single, Can’t Hide, with Ashe. It comes as no surprise that the song is blowing up. Though Can’t Hide starts out laid back and chill, its intensity briskly picks up. Brassy flares and percolating synths emerge beside its playful whistling and Ashe’s rich, soulful voice to blanket us in serotonin releasing euphoria. Whethan’s frisky future bass original is out now on iTunes.

Buckle in and get ready for an intensive ride as we dive into Los Angeles producer Goshfather’s new original, I Ain’t The One, featuring Alexi. The talented producer continues his jam packed roll with the new track as he wades ever deeper into his solo career after thrilling us with his past collaborations with Jinco. I Ain’t The One is Goshfather’s third single, a boisterously riveting dance jam featuring sleek moody vocals by his good friend Alexi. The gloriously glamorous track is audacious and invigorating, its genre defying makeup carrying hints of future house, soul, melodic bass, future bass, trap, and more. Goshfather gives us a heavy hitting, heart pumping eruption of skin tingling, pupil dilating vitality. The bonafide banger is a free download, here.

Sean Glass dropped some spectacular remixes, his very first, in 2015, including edits of Robert Delong’s Long Way Down and Flight Facilities’ Down To Earth. They were a grand entrance for the New York based producer. I’ve been eagerly awaiting new Sean Glass since. Finally, after over eight months of production silence, Sean’s back, and not with a remix, but a wicked original. Sean teams up with fellow New Yorker Jay xero for a future and deep house extravaganza named We’re All Friends, one perfect for those Friday night hangs out on the town. The addictive, infectious electronic track carries shades of Slaptop funk alongside shifty, ZHU like vocals by Rochee. I have the sudden urge to call up some friends, get in my car, and cruise the city, bumping We’re All Friends with the windows down. Stream We’re All Friends on Spotify above or Soundcloud below.

NYC duo The Jane Doze are back with their second ever original, which follows up on their CURTAINS featuring original debut, Lights Go Down, from several months back. New song Give You Up is a luxurious and glossy dance track that features soothing, elegant vocals by their buddies, Brooklyn’s Paperwhite. To celebrate its release, The Jane Doze will be throwing a release party at Santos Party House in NYC tomorrow night, July 10th. For those of us not in NYC, it’s all good, because we get to dance all day and night long to the crisp, driving indie dance beats of Give You Up.

Get ready to boogie on down, because that’s exactly what London based producer Get To Know’s opulent new track Never Give You Up demands. In fact, the song, which is the producer’s very first original, is self described as “future boogie”. It’s a splendorous and funky French electro house banger, a jam brimming with tasty 80′s vibes. Get To Know is heavily influenced by French label Roule, in particular by DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter’s So Much Love To Give. The flamboyant, spirited disco jam is free for download. Get To Know also offered up a delicious remix of Just Kiddin’s Thinking About It earlier this year, which you can stream below. It’s absolutely glorious.

Over the past few months, we’ve enjoyed some lustrously radiant and engaging remixes by NYC based electronic act Lefti. Today, Lefti, aka Alex Suarez, drops an invigorating, vibrant original, his very first. Castle is an electro meets disco banger, one that bounces and pulses in a sublimely crisp and groovy manner. The producer brings in some jagged edges of future house to join the song’s gleaming synths and uplifting melodic progressions. Castle will appear on Laidback Luke’s newly minted Mixmash Deep label.
