Nozart arrived out of New York City nearly a year ago to melt our minds with his florid composition skills and dramatic delivery on Just Let It Go. He now returns to do exactly the same on Puppet, rendering us quite the puppets to the pulls and pushes of his cinematic post-rock and alt electronica. Nozart, the brainchild of composer, pianist, and producer Noah Kellman, delivers a soundscape rich in layered elements and deep with dark intrigue on his indietronica opus. Puppet is a gripping listen from start to finish, a bold and audacious narrative that’s fully engaging.

It’s obviously no coincidence that the name Nozart evokes the great classic genius of one Mozart. The New York City based artist’s new song Just Let It Go is a folktronica song with such orchestral ornateness, it even evokes music by contemporaries like Son Lux and Sufjan Stevens. The post rock meets electronica musical project is a beautiful display of Nozart’s talent as a composer, pianist, and producer.
