Brooding electronica tune from Edinburgh-based electro pop singer songwriter EMILIE titled ‘Never Enough’. The song’s essentially about greed in today’s world and never being satiated. Emilie has a sound similar to BANKS, Lapsley, Broods… etc.

The last we heard from Los Angeles pair Scavenger Hunt, they were “sweet talking” us with their seductive swooning neon pop. Now, they remind us that we can have “Never Enough” Scavenger Hunt with a chromatic burst of retro 80′s hued, bright dazzling synthpop. This festive jovial, dreamy warm new single comes just as our Indian summer is ending here in San Francisco. In fact, we had our first fall rain earlier this morning. I’d be a lot more depressed about it, being a summer girl, if not for Scavenger Hunt’s radiant new tune. Whilst the duo reminded me in the past of bands like MUNA or HAIM, they seem to channel some electrifying CHVRCHES, Young Galaxy, and School Of Seven Bells on Never Enough. The song will likely be a part of Scavenger Hunt’s forthcoming EP, Shapes and Outlines, scheduled for release on November 11th. You can purchase Never Enough in the meantime from various outlets , here.

I’m still kicking myself for managing to miss Allie X’s Popscene show in San Francisco some time ago. I’ve never seen the Toronto pop starlet live yet, and from all the footage I’ve viewed online, an Allie X show is a stand out experience. Her stage dramatics , costumes, and charisma remind me of Lady Gaga’s theatrical presence. Allie X revealed her new song Never Enough this week, and it’s an 80′s hued pop ballad that takes her into HAIM territory. Never Enough Is miles away from early song Bitch, oozing sweet seductive smoothness instead of edgy spunk. Allie X is on her Doing X tour, hit up her website to see the dates.

UK duo Fantastic Fantastic’s latest single The Night continues their swaggering retro synthpop sound, one reminiscent of a delightful blend of Phoenix and Empire Of The Sun. The hazy, smooth, and funky tune is a foot tapping, infectious listen. The Night will be the B-side to their an upcoming single Boulevard coming in January. Revisit debut song Never Enough again below, which I’m still so very partial to.

There’s no doubt I’ve become a big fan of UK duo Fantastic Fantastic’s recent releases, including Houses, a foot tap inducing, swagger filled synthpop gem. Though spunky and sassy, it’s also incredibly airy and smooth. Houses and prior tune Never Enough remind me greatly of Empire Of The Sun meets Phoenix, and it’s a sound I’m seriously digging. Watch their colorful new video for Houses below, then revisit Never Enough with me.

A few weeks ago, we were swept away by UK duo Fantastic Fantastic’s Never Enough, an incredibly catchy affair that brought to mind Empire Of The Sun meets Phoenix. Today, they return with cool, swaggering new tune Houses, their official debut single. It’s another summery alt synthpop track that continues a bit of that Phoenix and Empire sound, full of snappy rhythm and electrifying soul. Revisit Never Enough below.

UK duo Fantastic Fantastic (would it be wrong to describe them as fantastic?) put forth a track today named Never Enough, and it’s surely going to garner them a lot of attention with its funky electronic groove. It’s a bit like Phoenix meets Empire of the Sun, and boy, is it catchy. I have a feeling this is going to creep up in my mind at the most random moments in the coming days, and I’ll relish every second of that.
