Perhaps you missed the news, or perhaps you were blasting that surprise new ZHU EP all weekend long. If you’re of the former group, prepare for a spectacular journey as ZHU, still one of the most innovative and creative Grammy nominated producers of the moment, serves up plenty of his dark sultry, torrid gripping deep dance vibes on stardustexhalemarrakechdreams, which you can stream in full on Soundcloud, here. The four track collection ends with a much teased and long awaited collaboration with legendary British trio NERO named Dreams. An ominous and foreboding beginning invites us into NERO and ZHU’s brilliant composition. It’s as if we’ve entered a medieval cloister and happened upon an ancient ritual. A spell is cast, and we dive head first into the portal that has been summoned. Future and past, modern tech and olden spirituality all collide as we’re surrounded by steely synths and ice cold beats, as well as an endless stream of jolting bass. Dreams is a stellar balance of NERO’s heavy jarring expertise and ZHU’s ever sweltering proficiency. ZHU’s new EP also comes with three vertical music videos directed by Elliot Sellers, which can be viewed via Spotify, here.

Nero’s Two Minds is undeniably epic, an unforgettable track off the British trio’s 2015 album Between II Worlds. It’s that song that we get to re-visit this glorious morning, but this Two Minds has been tweaked, to say the least. Though it’s sweeping cinematic and has its smoothly fluid moments, you’ll want to prepare yourself for the hard drop that hits a quarter of a way through. And you’ll want to buckle yourself in for the rest of this high adrenaline ride. Miami based DJ and producer Damaged Goods has joined forces with Australian model, actress, DJ, and recording artist Ruby Rose to remix Two Minds, and their thrilling deep future modification is jouncing vibrant and dark tumultuous. The only bruised and “damaged goods” here is probably me, after going bonkers wild to this sharp jabbing, vociferous throbbing beast of a remix. The savage fierce, raging exhilarating track is a free download, here

Though I don’t watch much anime, and only went through a brief phase of anime obsession when younger, there’s something about moving anime music videos that just does it for me, especially when they pay tribute to the animation style of the 80′s and 90′s. Whether they’re videos for Kavinsky’s dramatic electro house, or Flight Facilities’ disco grooving jams, these clips draw me in for those several minutes of music nirvana and nearly always tell epic tales. Case in point, Nero’s new video for In The Night, the British electronic trio’s forthcoming single from their terrific Between II Worlds release. If you’re not up gleefully dancing to the magnificent progressive dance track and singing along with impeccable vocalist Alana, then I recommend you pop some popcorn, sit back, and get ready for an engrossing saga directed by Markus Lundqvist and Nero’s very own Dan Stephens.

British electronic trio Nero revealed a fantastical music video for massive jam Two Minds, which is such a wicked tune and therefore an automatic re-share. Alana Watson’s high flying, captivating vocals are purely magnificent on the stirring electronic song, which brings hints of barbed future house grit and thundering bass into its emotively oozing melodic folds. Nero’s glorious single will be out September 4th, while the trio’s highly anticipated new album Between II Worlds will be out on September 11th.

Still having some issues with certain tracks not directly importing into Tumblr from Soundcloud, so you’ll have to either stream the Spotify import above on this one, or stream the Soundcloud embed below. It’s up to you which you choose, but choose wisely… Uh, I mean… it really doesn’t matter, as long as you make sure you listen to Nero’s latest song. Two Minds is a helluva jam, and you can’t miss out on it. I’m giving you two ways to listen, you have no excuse. The British electronic trio have been such a huge influence on me over the years, and they continue to showcase their versatility with this exhilarating new taste off their Between II Worlds album, out August 28th via MTA / Virgin EMI. Two Minds is one of Nero’s most gorgeous and heart rending songs, partly due to emotive vocals of Alana Watson, and partly due to the stirring, melodic soundscape created by the electronic mainstays. It’s also one of their most pop leaning, least hard hitting offerings. Just the right amount of future house imbued grit and bass combine with the song’s mellifluous exquisiteness, giving us a melting, intoxicating jam.

Apparently, when you go thrillseeking on Nero’s The Thrill, you get colossal thrills. Or so it seems with this remix by Canadian drum and bass producer René LaVice. I always find drum and bass to be exhilarating, so it makes logical sense to me. Plus, add on the fact that René LaVice’s drum and bass thrills are unabashedly heavy hitting, explosively blaring, fantastically ear busting, and so deeply gratifying.

Worlds collide on this colossal track. I mean, they seriously, seriously do. Porter Robinson, after all, released one of 2014′s best electronic records, Worlds. And Nero? Their new album is called Between Two Worlds, as is its title track. See what I’ve done here? Silly word play aside, you need to listen to this. Porter remixed Nero’s The Thrill, and it’s going to melt your face. It’s an even more thrilling The Thrill, complete with Porter Robinson’s magical, beautiful future bass effervescence.

Alright, we go from the sugary sweetness of that last Icona Pop and Tiesto feature to this dark, heavy, sick return by British electronic music trio NERO. Satisfy is the lead single off a long awaited sophomore album in the works. I was so impressed and in love with Satisfy that it was one of the songs I flooded my friends with on Facebook earlier today. The electro house tune has little of the dubstep sound that I loved when I first started listening to Nero some years ago, but I’m not complaining. In fact, I find myself thinking of The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers when listening to this dope piece of electronic music. The vocals remind me of Kidnap Kid’s Stronger, and maybe something else too, that I can’t place a finger on. All in all, this is one wicked track. I’m excited to hear more new music from NERO!

Time for some drops and wobbles. It’s been awhile since I’ve thrown any dubstep on here, and Skrillex and Nero’s collaborative remix of MONSTA’s Holding On is a hard hitting, satisfying piece to scratch that deep bass itch.
