Those delightful Canadian Quin twins, Tegan and Sara, seem to be featured left and right on so many awesome songs this past year. Add to that list this new hooking electronic tune, Make Things Right, from fellow Canadian production act Sultan + Shepard. I do believe this is the first original I’ve shared from the producers, though I’ve gleefully shared some killer remixes by them in the past. Make Things Right is an uplifting, feel good, and optimistic progressive house jam, everything you want in such a massive EDM anthem. And Tegan and Sara always makes things right. The banging tune will be out March 13th on Spinnin’.

So, the new Dillon Francis features San Jose, California born The Chain Gang Of 1974, aka Kamtin Mohager, on vocals, and I’m pretty happy about that. I just caught Kamtin and his band performing at Bottom Of The Hill a couple short weeks ago, because I had to catch them on tour for their album Daydream Forever, which came out earlier this year. In my opinion, it’s one of the most overlooked, underrated albums of this year so far. Every song on that song carried choruses as catchy as that of this tune, When We Were Young. It’s a terrific release, and some of you need to go back and take a listen. Anyway, The Chain Gang Of 1974 oozes his wonderfully delicious synthpop style into this new collaboration with super producer Dillon Francis on new infectious electro house banger When We Were Young. DF also teamed up with Sultan and Ned Shepard on the exhilarating feel good tune. It’s fun. It’s infectious. It’s powerful. And it’s The Chain Gang Of 1974! I’m not complaining.
