Hollywood producer Steve James has been massive on our electronic artists to watch list, having given us sensational tunage as well as worked on smash hits with the likes of Justin Bieber. For his latest track, he’s even teamed up with esteemed veteran Morgan Page to ignite our hearts with creamy saccharine dance vibes. Love is in the air as this ace pairing douses us with a heartrending fusion of their respective styles on Candles. Heart pumping progressive house and feisty future beats intermingle flawlessly on the swift soaring aria. Candles can also be streamed on Spotify.

Acclaimed veteran producer Morgan Page announced his first album in three years, DC To Light, earlier this week. He also revealed a terrific first single, the infectious and uplifting Open Heart. Joining him on the exhilarating electronic song is singer songwriter Lissie. It’s a very unexpected but very welcome collaboration, as Lissie’s husky vocals add even more to the splendor of Open Heart. She’s the perfect match up for the song’s feel good progressive house atmosphere.

Back to updated oldies we go, and with this one, we go even further back than that last remix I shared of Next’s Too Close by D.VELOPED. Now, we go back to the early 90’s (wow, flashback memories), with a remix of Ace Of Base’s All She Wants. Oh, how I still do love Ace of Base and their endless bevy of infectious Swedish pop dance tunes. On this delicious remix, Los Angeles producer SNBRN teams up with newcomer KLATCH to create a tropical, chill house version of the tune. For SNBRN, the Ace of Base remix follows on the heels of a hugely popular summer house remix of Morgan Page’s In The Air from last month. Stream below.

OFFICIAL VID: Morgan Page – Body Work ft. Tegan & Sara

February 27, 2012

Here’s the video for that collaboration between Morgan Page and Tegan & Sara. Body Work may not count as the higher quality work from Tegan & Sara, but it’s still wonderful to see new material and new footage. The song isn’t bad at all though, it’s a great, fun, catchy tune with huge growth potential on repeat listens. I like it. It’s very similar to dance songs from The Good Natured and some other Brit indie pop artists these days. I’m sure there are already some awesome remixes of this track. I can’t wait for proper new work from Tegan & Sara.
