“Confessing” normally seems like a rather painful thing to have to do. I mean, who likes to say they’ve been wrong and accept guilt? But trust me, you’re going to want to “confess” your love over and over again for this fine tune, and you’ll enjoy doing it too. Singaporean producer MYRNE, who last gave us a cutting edge collaboration with fellow countryman Gentle Bones several weeks ago, is back with a regal marching, dramatic rousing oeuvre named Confessions. Its electrifying future trap and melodic bass features captivating vocals by singer/actress Cozi Zuehlsdorff, as well as triumphantly brassy flourishes. The theatrically gripping, grandly riveting track is out now on Monstercat. Find Confessoins on all major platforms, here.

Production bigwig Gareth Emery recently partnered up with Bristol production giant STANDERWICK on a grand sprawling progressive house anthem named Saving Light, featuring superb vocals by HALIENE. A behemoth remix pack was also released for the track earlier this year, which features this thrilling trance remix by the Netherlands’ NWYR. The crisp pounding, panoramic sweeping track takes me back to my epic trance and vocal trance obsessive days. You can stream the scintillating six track remix pack for Saving Light via Soundcloud, here. Alternate streaming/purchasing options for the tracks, out on Monstercat, are available, here.

As far as I know, none of us have ever had alien cookies, but if they taste anything like Dirty Audio’s Alien Cookies, I’m going to have to get me a Costco sized box of these treats. The Los Angeles based producer has dropped this behemoth banger on Monstercat. If you’re ready for an intergalactic adventure, prepare to lift off with the whomping, wobbling spectacular. The hair-raising hybrid track binds gritty trap and electrifying dubstep in an exhilarating manner. Stream or download Alien Cookies via major outlets, here.

I’ve never seen a show (or a basketball game) at NYC’s famed venue, Madison Square Garden, unless you count that one time I saw the Rockettes there when I was a little girl with my parents. But I sure wish I had been there when Robotaki debuted his new single Automaton at MSG last year. The Montreal producer dazzles with an array of succulent synths and plump beats on the meditative thriller, a song which fully encapsulates its name. I can only imagine how immense an experience it would have been to be one of the first to hear this song live. Automaton is a cinematic sprawling fusion of crisp melodic bass, nostalgic retrowave, and mecha grinding grittiness. Past, present, and future combine on Automaton, both in its sound and in the vivid tale it recounts. The single, out now on Monstercat, can be purchased from major outlets, here.

WRLD continues his worldwide ascent as a producer to watch with Everything, a new original that features British singer and producer Ashdown on guest vocals. The Dutch producer presents us with a very unique and fresh approach on drum and bass with this swift rippling, spongy sleek emulsion. Has anyone coined the term “future drum and bass” yet? Because I think WRLD may have invented exactly that with this imaginative music. Everything is indeed everything… from classical bridges to choppy breaks, wavy synths to silky vocals, it has it all.  Everything is out now on Monstercat, purchase or stream from additional sources, here.

Greek production auteur Aero Chord is proving himself a chameleon of sorts with his recent music. After delivering that ridiculously brilliant Love & Hate EP late last year on which he melded trance with future bass, he went on to deliver an electro trap remix of Pegboard Nerds and NGHTMRE’s Superstar. Now, Aero Chord returns with Resistance, a heavy jolting, regal blaring anthem brimming with visceral trap and moombahton. Resistance is an invigorating call to arms, a stalwart and resolute eruption of will and determination. The exhilarating track is out now on Monster Cat. Purchase and stream from various outlets, here.

Manic and melodic indeed is Melodymania, a thriller of a new electronic anthem from Norwegian duo Pegboard Nerds. The energetic marching spectacular takes me back to my old raving days with its berserk bouncing, pixelated quivering bombast. Progressive house and trance fuse as one. My own “melodymania” is quickly exposed by Pegboard Nerds as I unwittingly get pulled into a roiling ocean of irrational exuberance and joy. Suddenly, all I want to do is hop around with bright glow sticks for the rest of the night. Melodynamia is the latest single from Pegboard Nerds’ forthcoming #NerdsByNature EP, out on Monstercat come January 13th. Pre-order, here.

I near choked on my coffee this morning when I saw an ECHOS and Seven Lions collaboration surface on my radar, I was that agitated with excitement. It was but a few Fridays ago that I eagerly caught ECHOS’ San Francisco debut at Popscene to learn how spectacularly rousing their music can truly be in person. The fact that this incredible Portland duo has partnered up with venerated melodic bass producer Seven Lions was the best spirit lifting news to arrive in a rather unfortunately glum election week. It comes as no surprise that ECHOS’ emotively exquisite, atmospheric heartrending electronica pairs gorgeously with Seven Lions’ production. Cold Skin is cavernous and expansive, yet intimately tender and stirring. Lexi’s exceptional voice lifts us to cathartic apexes while Seven Lions’ cinematic production packs in those endless infinite feels. Trust me, you’ll be hard pressed to find another electronic aria as moving as this one right now. Cold Skin is out now on Monstercat. Grab it from iTunes.

Anevo again proves himself a brilliant architect of dramatic and intense sonic epics on Don’t Shoot Me Down, which features indomitably soulful vocals by Jae-Mi. The Swedish producer built an astonishing skyscraper of a cinematic and melodic house opus. Don’t Shoot Me Down’s lush guitar and twinkling chimes add to the expanse of this vastly atmospheric summer anthem. The majestic dance track is out now on Monstercat. Purchase from iTunes.

Vicetone’s new original is named Nevada, and considering the name they’ve chosen, this seems to be a sort of follow up to their first single many years ago, California. It’s also the the Dutch duo’s first single since they’ve return to dance music label Monstercat. Nevada, which features breathtaking vocals by actress and singer Cozi Zuehlsdorff, is a phenomenal way to mark that return. Its twinkling enchantment, warm melodic appeal, and steely edged sprightliness are tremendously exhilarating. Nevada is one of the best electronic dance tracks to come about this month, a rip roaring, gorgeous sweeping progressive house epic. Purchase Nevada from various outlets, here.
