Glitchy blistering pop leaves our hearts a racing as Los Angeles duo Bad Wave come at us strong with a spectacular new single named Money. Who doesn’t love money, much less a sonic currency like this synth rollicking swashbuckler? Former surf-rockers Tucker Tola and Patrick Hart, who first bonded over their love of Weezer, produces most of their own music via email despite living in the same neighborhood. After releasing glorious songs like Extraordinary, 3AM, and 1955, as well as countless other fine tracks we’ve featured on IHM in the past, the duo close out 2017 with a smashing jam in the form of Money, a vivacious whirring, squishy pouncing thriller of a pop banger. Re-visit their prior singles on Soundcloud, here.

LEISURE is on a roll. After a long absence from the scene, the New Zealand collective seems primed and ready to pump out a whole lot of stellar music. Just last week, they gave us a dreamy swirling R&B soul gem named Alone Together. Now, they’re back with another song named Money, and who doesn’t love money? Especially when it comes to jazzy swooning, silky smooth sonic currency like this debonair tune? I can feel goosebumps rising on my skin as buttery perfection snakes its way through my ears from this swanky grooving jam. LEISURE sure knows how to woo us with their dusky, gooey alt R&B, electro soul, and spacey funk.

Icy crystalline enchantment abounds yet again as Norwegian synthpop duo Anna of the North continues to enamor with new single Money. The ever buzzing pair is gearing up to drop their highly anticipated full length, Lovers, next month, but before that happens, they’d like to illuminate the pitfalls of materialism with their dreamy shimmering new tune. Quite honestly, the bliss of celestial enthralling music like this song is a form of wealth itself. In fact, it’s probably more nourishing a “wealth” than money itself. We gladly find ourselves rich on Anna of the North, with more prosperity to come in the form of Lovers, which arrives on September 8th. Pre-order, here.

It’s been far too long since we’ve visited with Toronto female quartet The Beaches and their vibrant brand of rollicking rock and roll. Despite the fact that it’s been three years since we first posted about these ladies, right around the time they released their debut EP, they’ve yet to put out a debut album. That all changes later this year. Boisterous chugging Money is a taste from the long awaited full length. It’s a spirited rocker reminiscent of The Strokes but riding on wild surf and bursting with an abundance of fierce mettle. Money even comes with a fabulous music video, too. Watch out world, The Beaches are about to pick up a whole lot of momentum. We’ll be looking out for more news regarding that full length.

There are times when music seems better to have than money, like now, whilst lost in the glimmering fantasy land that Norwegian wunderkind Jerry Folk has crafted for us on his latest track. Money is the second single revealed from his forthcoming mixtape Purple Evenings, and it’s a chilled out, dreamy murmuring swathe of soulful hip hop and ambient electronic bliss. Jerry Folk promises that his new mixtape will be dropping soon. We’ll be waiting.

It’s been an eternity since we last heard from Los Angeles’ Pr0files, and I’ve been hoping for new music from the pair all this time. It feels like just yesterday that they were one of our most buzz worthy acts to catch at SXSW 2015, yet the interim since their excellent debut album Jurassic Technologie has also felt like an empty hole in my heart. That hole is finally filled as Lauren and Danny return with a synth jabbing, sensual pumping single named Money. This dreamy cinematic, breathy seductive synthwave aria is “an anthem for anyone who has struggled with the fear of failure or who has experienced disappointments, but not letting those fears control you or determine the future.” Money is delectable to the tee. Call me greedy, but I’m addicted and all I want is more of this “money”. You can purchase Pr0files’ blazing new gem from Bandcamp, here.

Step Rockets has been one of our favorite bands from Minnesota for many a year now. They’ve consistently regaled us with vivacious hooking alt rock anthems, each one as infectious as the last. This week, Step Rockets has unveiled a new one named Money. A few seconds in and it’s already obvious this one’s a jam. Snappy percussion, spirited vocals, and lively guitar make this synth inflected tune a dance ready sing along charmer.  Money is rebellious and determined, and it’s the perfect song to sing to your boss if you’re planning to quit. Not saying you should, of course.

Is it summer yet? The TVC’s song ‘Money’ puts me right on The Pacific Coast Highway with a drop top, enjoying the sights, sounds, and beaches. The TVC is a hybrid of alternative rock with upbeat indie vibes. The TVC will be releasing an EP ‘Talk About Us’ later this year.

It’s a moodier, more glum world of indie rock that surrounds us on Manchester band MONEY’s beautiful single I’ll Be The Night. The folk and chorale imbued gem is the second single from the quartet’s sophomore album Suicide Songs, due out January 29th via Bella Union. Stirring harmonies, raw vocals, and morose lament move mountains on the lonesome yet tenacious song. The lead single revealed from Suicide Songs is also a spectacularly mournful treat. Stream You Look Like A Sad Painting On Both Sides Of The Sky below, and stew in more of the aching sadness and beautiful strings of MONEY. Pre-order Suicide Songs on iTunes.

I’m starting to feel like BBHMM is everywhere these days, from bootlegs to covers to remixes, but when I saw a new official remix of the massive Rihanna hit that units Diplo and Grandtheft, my eyes lit up. What would the two super production acts do to Bitch Better Have My Money? How would they meld their sounds together on the track? Sure enough, this is a BBHMM that is money through and through… steely edged, jagged, frenetic, trappy, unabashedly noisy and loud… It’s 100% brain jiggling, pulse jolting, “need a shower afterwards” Mad Decent.
