We’re in the midst of winter, with the holidays fast approaching. But I can’t help but wish I had a heated pool back at home, so I could blast this remix and party all night long, through midnight till the sun comes up. Australian electronic duo Midnight Pool Party have given Lorde’s Dynamite a juicy lush, snazzy grooving edit, and it’s the perfect soundtrack for such a soiree. The electro-funky, disco pumping remix is a welcome new look for Lorde’s dark pop. All we need with our pool and this steamy jam are some flashing neon lights. Midnight Pool Party says: “2017 has been an amazing year for us, and what better way to finish it off than with some funky summer vibes for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for your support this year and keep an eye out for more from us in 2018!” Download this awesome way to wrap up the year for free, here.

No matter what kind of midnight pool party you prefer, this Australian synth duo can make it better with their music. They’ve dished out some frisky swaggering treats in the past, but Midnight Pool Party goes the chill funky, laid back swervy route this time around on new nu-disco meets deep house single Signals. It’s muggy yet not stifling, steamy yet cool, a wavy luscious late night suitor for some blissful swaying and plenteous desirous crushing. Stream/purchase the plush and ritzy gem, here.

The Midnight Pool Party we’ve been fortunate to participate in in these past two years is an epic one. That swanky dance party continues and hopefully never ends as the Australian synth duo unleash the final single from their debut EP. This Love is a disco glam, neon lit extravaganza, a sleek swaggering, funk strutting serving of the pair’s dashing electronica. Midnight Pool Party’s debut EP Dalliance can be streamed in full on Soundcloud. Purchase from iTunes, here.

A midnight pool party sounds perfect just about now, and though I doubt it’s going to happen for me anytime this weekend, at least we get to dive into the sublime sonic waters of Australian synth duo Midnight Pool Party’s new single. The fellows trade in some of the funky spry spirit of prior singles for a cool gliding groove on Collide, the second single from their forthcoming debut EP. Their squishy plump deep house brims with bittersweet pensiveness. This is a song you’ll want to dance to not at a crowded pool party, but under a night sky with a few close loved ones. Stretch your arms towards the sky and watch as shooting stars streak by to the beat of this slick emotive, cathartic building piece. Collide is a free download, here. You can also support the single by purchasing from iTunes, here.

There’s no doubt that Washington, DC based producer Eau Claire is one of many people’s favorite fast rising producers, having played her fest debuts earlier this year and successfully thrilled huge, voracious crowds to much euphoria. Even Idolator listed her as one of the top 10 house producers to know just recently. I wholeheartedly agree. After all, Rachel has constantly and consistently offered us a stream of versatile remixes this past year, from funky fresh boogie down tracks to summery, melodic house jams. Eau Claire’s latest track is a remix of emerging Australian synthfunk duo Midnight Pool Party’s snappy, swanky Disease. She skillfully morphs the original’s French electro splendor into a grooving nu-disco banger. Instead of midnight pool party, this is a brilliant sunset and flashy shades pool party. Funky, enthralling piano chord progressions and chipper beats makes this a disease I welcome with arms outstretched and dance shoes ready. Download the remix for free, here. Eau Claire will be playing Splash House in Palm Springs come August 8th-9th, as well as several other shows in DC, NY, and LA  throughout the next month.

Australia’s emerging synth funk duo, Midnight Pool Party, return with another gloriously infectious and snappy treat named Disease. Trust me, there’s no resisting the swanky groove on this one. It’s a deeply sensual and wonderfully French electro styled jam, a splendorous blend of classic and modern day disco, with smoothly cooling vocals. Disease is mixed by Luke Godson of Luke Million and The Swiss.
