OFFICIAL VID: Melody’s Echo Chamber – Some Time Alone, Alone

May 13, 2013

Now, it’s time for a mega dreamy psychedelic shoegaze moment. Melody’s Echo Chamber dropped some visuals for a cut off the French artist’s self titled debut album from late last year off Fat Possum. Some Time Alone, Alone can only be justifiably expressed with a video of Melody Prochet alone, in this case, at an amusement park. The vibrant clip and hazy, mellifluous track are a pleasant treat indeed.

French dream pop and shoegaze artist Melody Prochet, aka Melody’s Echo Chamber, released a new track titled Je Me Perds de Vue. It’s the B side to fuzzy single Crystallized (see below). Je Me Perds de Vue is a super dreamy, hypnotizing lush and psychedelic track. I feel colors bursting in my head when listening to it. There’s some very interesting instrumentals interspersed throughout, from horns to strings.

OFFICIAL VID: Melody’s Echo Chamber – You Won’t Be Missing That Part Of Me

November 1, 2012

And now for some super woozy psych pop from Paris musician Melody Prochet. You Won’t Be Missing That Part Of Me is on her self titled debut album which dropped just last month. Unsurprisingly, the producer of the album is none other than Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. There’s a very spacey lo-fi bleepy bloopiness to the psychedelic music and colorful video. You can certainly drift away to another world on this funky song. The ending is worthy of comparison to some of Neon Indian’s most space pop moments. I bet this would be awesome to listen to on vinyl!
