When new Manila Killa arises, you’d better be ready for a moving electronic experience. The producer, also much loved for his work as one half of Hotel Garuda, tends to tug at heart strings with his melodious and affecting brand of future pop and electronica. Despite how busy Chris Gavino must be with all the various tours, releases, and production endeavors he’s involved in as a multi-faceted artist, he’s found time to link up with honeyed vocalist Nevve on new single ‘Everyday, Everyday’, a dreamy celestial, effervescent springing future pop anthem that leaves us quite breathless with its towering magnificence and sparkling beauty. Could this be our favorite Manila Killa song thus far? It’s quite possible, until of course, we get drawn back into one of his many other sterling tracks of yore. The Washington, D.C. native, a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene, will be performing at Moving Castle World this weekend, which boasts an incredible lineup of Moving Castle artists and friends. ‘Everyday, Everyday’ can also be streamed via other platforms, here. Tickets to Moving Castle World in LA are available, here.

A music fan like me is ever fortunate to live in a day and age when musicians and producers are so generous when it comes to sharing their music with one another and supporting each other in creating new versions of their own material. LA duo Mako sent Philadelphia based producer RLSTNE the stems for their emotionally charged melter Let Go Of The Wheel after he sent them a demo. Out of that turn of events comes this gorgeous remix of the song by RLSTNE, an atmospheric future bass rendering brimming with tingling feels and sleek shuddering vibes. The soft glow of RLSTNE’s remix is splendorous and uplifting. You can download the remix for free from Toneden.

It’s a double dose of HYDDE we’re getting on this beautiful day as we move from Sean Turk’s remix of the producer’s last collaborative track (with MOONZz) to a fresh new jam named Ghost. This time around, the Los Angeles based production talent has teamed up with a vocalist who goes by the name of HAWKES to deliver his sonic goods. HAWKES’ rich soulful voice, which reminds me at times of rising progressive soul talent Brandyn Burnette and R&B pop musician Lostboycrow, make for a dulcet companion to HYDDE’s deep shivering future bass. Ghost packs a robust emotive punch in its resplendent melodic bass, easily melting the very hearts it powerfully jabs.
