I’d love to wake up to the tranquil reediness of Max Subar’s new song everyday. The Chicago based singer songwriter makes his official debut on Morning Song, a verdant folk hymnal which he describes as a “reflection on peace and personal awakening after a dark period of time.” The pastoral warmth emitting from his heartfelt strummer truly evokes the soft caress of a morning sun. I can literally feel golden rays of sunshine kissing my skin as I sway gently to the beautifully soothing song which also features Henry Solomon on alto sax, bass clarinet, and flute, as well as Sam Subar on drums. Morning Song is the opening track on Max Subar’s debut EP, In a Dream, due out March 31st.
