Nervous never applies when it comes to fresh new Magic Bronson. I stepped into their new single nervous with absolutely no trepidation, eager to hear what the Los Angeles based band has concocted for us anew. Synth rippling, lavish pumping dreaminess abounds on Nervous, an instantaneously endearing dance friendly synthpop aria that even Kylie and Kendall Jenner are enamored with. They used Nervous on their Instagram video for their Spring 2017 looks. “These are the nights when we stay iside  making history” coo the duo. I could stay inside all night long listening to this euphoric treat.

It’s only Wednesday, yet I must concur with the title of Magic Bronson’s latest song, What A Week. How it’s not already Thursday or Friday evades my brain, but at least time flies by far quicker when we have intoxicating tunes like this one to keep us company. The Los Angeles based band offer up experimental psychedelia on What A Week. This wonky surreal, funky sashaying song takes the slinky seduction of Glass Animals and the stylish velour of Metronomy on a foggy hallucinogenic trip down electronica lane. Add in a touch of bossa nova like shimmies, and we have most unique and innovative captivator.

I find it rather criminal that I somehow missed out on this funky new Magic Bronson for over a week. I hope the music gods forgive me. I’ll make it up right now by launching us into the ravishing dance punk of this ebullient tune. It’s Happening is smart and dapper. The Los Angeles based band spins us around and around with their cheeky dazzler, even channeling hints of classic LCD Soundsystem and The Rapture in their swanky groove. Magic Bronson satiates our eternal craving for more cowbell with It’s Happening, a song we’ll be able to find on the band’s Bsides & Demos album coming in November.

Magic Bronson hits us with some snappy hooks on the Los Angeles based band’s cheeky new tune, a synthpop and dance rock concoction named Hell With A Water Pistol. Though I certainly would never want to be caught in such a situation, the experience sure seems like much bustling fun when heard through Magic Bronson’s incredibly infectious new taste off their forthcoming EP. Hints of Krautrock imbue the wonderfully punchy and swiftly vigorous treat. Magic Bronson’s self titled EP will be out April 8th. Hell With A Water Pistol is available now from iTunes.

After releasing a slew of fantastic remixes, Magic Bronson is back with a new original. Levitate, which features San Francisco based Collaj (formerly 8th Grader) is a slinky, muggy number, a slow slithering and dark number. It buzzes and drones, slides and sashays in a Glass Animals like way, with a hint of Portugal. the Man like floaty vocals. There’s a seductive mystique to the stellar tune that leaves me simmering pensively in a shadowy, dusky corner.

Genre defying Los Angeles based duo Magic Bronson dropped a Wildlife remix bundle, free to download, that includes several dope renditions of their infectious tunes. Off the three track release comes a remix of their insanely infectious song Fences by SF Bay’s own MyKill. Having gotten used to some of MyKill’s previously featured tunes, which were very summery and dreamy tunes, I was quite surprised to hear this indie dance edit that bounces with a light step and a more crisp and airy liveliness. Entrancing and euphoric, MyKill’s Fences is a colorful splash of whimsical, infectious fun. The remix was also mastered by another Bay Area talent, Party Ben.

Out of sunny Los Angeles comes an electronic rock duo by the name of Magic Bronson, who’s played the 2013 CMJ Music Marathon and whose last release, Nor’easter EP, spent five weeks on the CMJ Top 200 charts. They’ve been working on a debut full length record sing then, toiling away in a vintage studio in the woods of Northern California (I wonder where, perhaps closeby to me?). The album comes out November 4 on War Cry Records, and they’ve unveiled a fantastic track off the release named Fences, wonderfully hooking and synthy alt tune. It possesses plenty of infectious, warm beats and a reverb drenched, laid back dance pop air.
