It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only five days away. Thank goodness I’ve finished all my Christmas shopping, though I’ve yet to wrap all the presents I bought. Let’s ring in some Christmas cheer and merry mirth with a seasonal present from trendsetting collective and esteemed record label Moving Castle. Though Joy is a collaboration involving versatile artist Mark Johns and charismatic electro/hip hop talent BLAISE, the dreamy melodious, jazzy snug song was produced by AObeats and Roget Chahayed. It also features additional vocals by SATICA, Madi, SAKIMA, and Robokid, with artwork by Robokid. Joy is a super stacked Moving Castle all-star affair, a mahogany flavored infusion of chill hip hop, pellucid R&B soul, and twinkling future beats. The song goes hand in hand with everything we love about Christmas, be it a warm fire, a glass of creamy eggnog, or plenty of cuddling with your boo. Naughty or nice, we all get to treasure this Joy. For those of you who are lucky enough to be in Southern California on January 27th, you can catch an incredible roster of Moving Castle talent live at Moving Castle World, tickets and more info can be found, here.

Fans of cutting edge electronic music are no strangers to Madi’s sultry fluttering, breathy floating voice. I’d have to go on forever if I wanted to list all the songs we’ve heard her on in the past couple of years, but let’s just name a few producers she’s collaborated with, like Slushii, TastyTreat,

StéLouse, Excision, and AOBeats. She teams up with Los Angeles’ Moonbeat on today’s stunner, a magnificent future trap aria with dark edges and lavish ruffles. Decay’s visceral warbles and pointed percussion are edgy and suspenseful, while Madi’s vocals are an aerial flight of delight. You can grab Decay as a free download, here.

We can always count on Denver’s StéLouse to deliver future bass intoxication to the max, and the now Casablanca Records signed artist has released a full album of sublime feels. The self-titled album features this new single, Plastic, which sees StéLouse uniting with Tennessee producer Pink Slip and SoCal chanteuse Madi for a smoldering future R&B meets chill trap experience. Its embers burn so hot, if there were truly any plastic in the vicinity, it would melt in an instant.

StéLouse’s debut album is available now from iTunes, and it features superb guest artists including Neck Leng, Mascolo, Brave, and more.

I suppose mysterious producer Slushii isn’t as mysterious anymore after his debut at HARD Summer last weekend, but he’s no less magical when it comes to his sparkling playful future bass. On So Long, Slushii teams up with Southern California’s Madi to captivate us with trickling keys, glistening vocals, and lithe beats. So Long is a fantastical electronic ballad, a twilight twinkling, emotive quivering chill trap and future beats wonder world. The single is out now on Mad Decent. Purchase from various outlets, here.

German producer and Moving Castle member Virtual Riot wrote for his Soundcloud profile: “Making dreamy wubwub music”. Yet, it’s a nimble versatility that he displays on cascading new original Flutter, on which he strays from his harder wubwub-iness, while retaining much of that dreaminess. The effervescent rippling, smoothly bouncing beauty features enchanting vocals by SoCal chanteuse, Madi. Virtual Riot has presented us with a summery future bass and serrated future house anthem much breathtaking and sweeping. It mellifluously hovers and “flutters”, leaving my heart aflutter too. Flutter is out now on iTunes.

When ever busy and prolific producer Felix Snow isn’t working on so many other great artists’ songs, he might be crafting some amazing solo tunes for himself. Case in point, new song Slow, the first track revealed under his own label EFFESS Records. Slow is a glitchy popping and future R&B simmering gem that features alluringly smoky vocals by Madi. On additional production duties are AObeats, Madi herself, and Jack Buckley, quite a talented team.
