I know for a fact that I’m not “delusional” when it comes to my deep fondness for Lyon Hart’s music. Time and time again, he’s demonstrated that his talent is genuine, and his music affecting. However, I do understand the disconnect and torment that can arise from alternate unhealthy obsessions, which is exactly what the rising NYC singer songwriter addresses on his latest song. Delusional is a poignant examination of long faded relationships, a mournful brooding elegy delivered with rich luxuriant, lavish sparkling gusto. Lyon Hart’s satin smooth vocals pierce through producer Rob Grimaldi’s lush, intricate soundscape as if they’re piercing through our very souls. The silky burning R&B pop meets synthpop single is out now on iTunes.

I, for one, have been wondering for some time now what NYC’s Lyon Hart and Chicago’s Sam Padrul have been up to for the past half year or more. You can imagine how pleasantly delighted I was when the pair made a return together on a phosphorescent dance groover named Got My Love. It’s time to move that rump and boogie on down as this production and vocals team lifts us up with smooth disco and swag filled pop on their molten throwback jam. Got My Love will be available soon on Spotify.

It’s been over half a year since Lyon Hart’s debut EP With Or Without Me, and in the interim, the NYC artist has surfaced as a guest on some fabulous tunes, including Elephante’s magnificent Shake The Earth and Clyde Hill’s Cascade. As much as those tracks were thrilling, listening to Lyon Hart’s new single Falling For You reminds me how much I’ve missed his solo endeavors. Lyon Hart returns with a thoroughly moving declaration of ill fated love on Falling For You. Bold pounding drums and Lyon Hart’s smooth crooning add to the melting effects of this torrid love song. Falling For You also comes with a music video shot in a former rope factory in the industrial district of the Brooklyn waterfront. The clip, directed by Matt VanDaniker and James Manzello, features passionate choreography representing the hardships of a spiraling relationship. Watch the video below and purchase Falling For You from iTunes.

May start posting these ongoing “MOOSIQ MOSAICs” direct on IHM for those who haven’t had time to catch up on daily features and want to stream some rad new tunes via a handy Soundcloud playlist. Been doing this for awhile now, but likely many are still not aware (particularly if you don’t follow IHM on Twitter or Facebook). This one’s sonic gold, so many sizzling hot jams featured earlier this week on June 15th! Only songs that are streaming in full on Soundcloud are included in these playlists, snippets and previews are excluded.

A music industry buddy of mine with some fantastic ears cued me in on this fabulous new tune earlier today, and I was much delighted that the radiant exultant song also features NYC’s Lyon Hart on dashing guest vocals. Cascade comes from a producer from Seattle named Clyde Hill. It’s a sweet pumping, 80′s sleek torrential downpour of uplifting electropop and dance pop. Cascade sweeps me off my feet, dazzling me with its luxurious resplendence. This may very well be my favorite new indie dance song, a pick me up that will raise spirits and chase away the shadows of the night at a moment’s notice. Cascade is out now on iTunes.

I don’t believe I’ve missed sharing a single Micky Blue song since the NYC based London born songbird first appeared on the scene some months ago. That in itself is a testament to how much of a spell her enchanting pop music has put me under, and all those songs are out today as part of a debut EP named Wild Things. Rounding out the five track release is a new song and final single named The Good The Bad The Ugly, which you’ll soon find out is exceptionally good, with no bad or ugly to be found. The Good The Bad The Ugly is a glamorously soaring anthem, with gorgeously breathy vocals that has me falling even deeper in love with Micky Blue, who reminds me of a mesmerizing combination of Ryn Weaver, Alex Winston, and Carly Rae Jepsen. The sweeping song sees her joining forces once again with New York’s Mickey Valen, who delivers a magnificent bed of regal production for Micky’s beautiful voice. He also co-wrote the song with Micky Blue, alongside Lyon Hart and Joren Van Der Voort. Purchase Micky Blue’s Wild Things EP on iTunes.

Lyon Hart has delighted us with both his electropop originals and his guest vocals on electronic producer’s songs, including Elephante’s magnificent Shake The Earth. But this past week, the New York City based artist dropped his first EP, off which comes this soaring gem, Watch You Fly. Watch You Fly is a slice of glistening, soothing pop. It brims with saccharine sweet sentiment and overflows with regal passion. The song is the first track off Lyon Hart’s touching With Or Without Me EP, a must listen four track collection which you can stream on Soundcloud and download on Toneden.

This one comes from a congregation of some of my favorite indie artists and producers this year, so it’s no surprise that I fell for Firebird within seconds of hitting the play button on first listen this morning. New York’s Micky Blue reunites with ever busy producer Mickey Valen (who just produced Jojee’s latest) on the song, which was also co-written with Lyon Hart. Firebird takes majestic flight from a bewitching, plodding start. It rapidly flowers into a darkly edged but uplifting pop ballad, flaring brilliantly like a powerful spark of electricity. Micky Blue’s voice is sensational on the gilded gem, a blaze of incandescent light in a sea of emotional splendor. Firebird is a free download on Toneden.
