From his very first song, Adolescent, which I Heart Moosiq is forever proud of premiering, Los Angeles based singer songwriter Lostboycrow has held me captive with his creamy melting, glossy sleek mixture of pop, R&B, and electronica. Despite my love of all of his songs to date, I may have never swooned as hard as I do to new song Stay A Little Longer, a crisp polished, luscious intoxicating ballad that calls for immediate joyful waltzing across the room. I’m drunk on love as Lostboycrow whisks me away with buttery vocals and vibrant springing, urgent compelling dance production. There’s no need to ask me to “stay a little longer”. I’m a willing captive to Lostboycrow’s rosy flushed, bright rippling serenade.

It’s been a little over two weeks since I finally had the pleasure of catching Lostboycrow’s San Francisco debut at Popscene, but my heart is still racing from the molten dreaminess of the R&B pop artist’s performance. Alongside wooing us with many of the songs IHM has eagerly supported previously, Lostboycrow also gave us a taste of some splendorous new music. I’ve been waiting for him to officially reveal Where It All Goes ever since. At the helm on production for this dazzler is Dylan William, who forges a glorious analogue wonderland reminiscent of Robert Delong. Above it all is dashing Lostboycrow and his honeyed crooning. Where It All Goes is certainly one of Lostboycrow’s brighter and more jocund tunes. So… where does it “all go”? The proper answer is: straight to my heart.

There’s nothing more fitting than sharing a new song that involves Los Angeles’ Lostboycrow tonight. After all, it was but 24 hours ago that I finally experienced the dreamy crooner’s live set for the very first time, after having premiered his debut single what feels like forever ago. His stage presence was mesmerizing, and you could literally see the crowd swooning to his R&B influenced creamy pop. On Free From The Start, Lostboycrow teams up with Chicago producer GOLDHOUSE, fusing those buttery vocals with radiant euphoric dance pop. GOLDHOUSE brings some of that funky playfulness we’ve come to love in the past, while Lostboycrow effortlessly eases his way into our hearts once again. The resulting ebullient gem is a summer playlist must. As GOLDHOUSE himself says, this is “a song to roll your windows down and drive to the beach to.” It’s an escape I can’t say no to.

I’m impatiently counting down the days to May 31st. That night, I finally get to see Lostboycrow live, and I’m even more giddy excited for it now that he’s revealed a new song named Thursday. While I meant to share Thursday yesterday (which was, of course, Thursday), some live music commitments barred me from completing the task. So, guess what? We’re going to listen to Thursday on Friday! It really makes no difference when you dive into the milky thrumming warmth of this tune. Thursday is a creamy swooner any day of the week. Though the song is as velveteen seductive as any of Lostboycrow’s many other stellar ballads, it’s also an upbeat dance groover. Thursday even has some future tropical going on, making it a luxuriant and mellifluous summer Casanova. Lostboycrow links up with producer and fellow Los Angeles resident Wolves on his latest gem. Thursday has never felt more divine and romantic, and it now stands out as an extra special day of the week.

Lostboycrow has soared to such great heights since the early days of debut song Adolescent over a year ago, and I can’t be more proud and happy for the talented and much dreamy Los Angeles R&B pop artist. This week sees the release of a music video for Lostboycrow’s melting swooner, Love Won’t Sleep. Re-visiting the sparkling electronic pop beauty once again leaves me pining away in desperation alongside Chris and his milky crooning. It feels like it’s been a long time coming, but I’m giddy with excitement for Lostboycrow’s San Francisco debut at Popscene on May 31st. Head over to iTunes to purchase Lostboycrow’s heart rending EP, Sigh For Me.

It was over a year ago that I first caught wind of an artist out of Los Angeles named Lostboycrow. The moment I heard his debut song Adolescent, I knew I was on to something very special. IHM quickly jumped on the premiere of that glistening, wondrous song. Fast forward to today, and I’m happy to say that Lostboycrow has, as expected, won over the affection of many music loving hearts. Some major congratulations is also necessary, as Lostboycrow has also released his debut EP, Sigh For Me, a satin compendium of swooning R&B inspired pop. While we’ve already heard much of the EP, new song The Lost Boy has me swaying and careening in an expanse of misty, saccharine emotions. The Lost Boy also features New York based hip hop artist Skizzy Mars on guest vocals. There’s no resisting LBC’s melting voice and his glistening, stirring music. Los Angeles R&B pop talent Lostboycrow is back with a new one, and this time around, he’s offering a more smoothly airy treat named Love Won’t Sleep, leaving behind some of the fiery weight of his last couple songs. Love Won’t Sleep is a beautifully glimmering electropop gem from Lostboycrow’s forthcoming debut EP, fittingly titled Sigh For Me. His smoothly creamy vocals on the melting tune remind me of Mikky Ekko, and I can only pray that I will get to hear that voice live someday not too long from now. The EP drops January 13th, while Love Won’t Sleep is a free download, here.

LBC is in the house again, and this time, the Los Angeles based R&B pop artist is going extra heavy on us. Long time IHM favorite Lostboycrow showcases  impressive falsettos and vocal range on Talk Back To Me, which booms, jabs, and springs with salacious power. While some of Lostboycrow’s earliest tunes were bright and popping, or enchanting and charming, he’s really dug deep into his R&B foundation with this new one, even crossing into choppy, swaggering hip hop territory. Talk Back To Me, produced by MARØ, Brian Child, and Jon Castelli, is sizzling seductive and slinking sensuous.

The chill Lostboycrow song ‘Powers’ gets an upbeat electronic spin from his buddy Kill Paris. There’s future bass, soul, and the swoonful R&B vocals that make this track irresistibly sexy. Lostboycrow recently played with X Ambassadors and will be in LA November 13th.
