Though it’s been awhile since I’ve gone to see a musical, some might call me quite the Broadway geek back in the day. So when I saw the title of this next track, Think Of Me, a part of me wanted to start belting out Phantom Of The Opera. But don’t fret, this is as far removed from Broadway as can be. Think Of Me is a new original from Swedish producer Felix Palmqvist and a mysterious new electronic artist named ToWonder. It features saccharine vocals by Loé, and it’s a sweetly rousing, lofty lifting future bass and chill melodic house chimera reminiscent of both Gryffin and Vanic. Stream/download Think Of Me, here.

Anyone who’s a true electronic music head knows that what some call EDM (and what some others might find egregious to call EDM) can be as emotionally heartrending as it is dance inducing. Enter breathtaking Oceans Away, a stunning original from Severo (one half of Swedish project NOTD) and truly elusive Ellusive. This chill mellifluous future bass and chill trap aria is jam packed with molten feels. Washington, D.C.’s Loé turns in wistfully stirring vocals on the beautiful anthem, whose epic swells of cosmic shimmers fall into sheer, cathartic drops. Oceans Away instills in us a deep longing, one that seems to defy space and time, as if we had a star crossed lover to find. You can stream or purchase Oceans Away via additional outlets, here.

I mentioned Kiesza’s Hideaway on my prior feature as one of the most infectious songs of the past while (if not the year), so it’s only fitting that I follow up with this deep new remix of the hit tune by new producer Loe. I can’t even begin to describe how crazy I, and my friends, are for this catchy throwback 90’s house tune. In fact, I’m rather obsessed with Kiesza and her jaw dropping resume of talents (ie. Canadian Navy codebreaker and almost sniper, Miss Canada pageant, sailing, ballerina, among other things). While I love Hideaway very much, I must say, this harder hitting, bass heavy, progressive chord happy house remix by Loe is a super tasty new approach. Try resisting the urge to dance on this one…
