It’s a warm breath of sunshine that bursts forth from Lincoln Jesser’s latest track, a chill melodic house offering named Somebody Will that features fellow Los Angeles artist Gabrielle Current on soft saccharine vocals. This long time IHM praised talent teamed up with Maty Noyes to write Somebody Will. They’ve combined summer glistening tropical house and mellifluous lifting pop on the heartwarming aria. Lincoln Jesser has been flourishing in the dance music scene after capturing our hearts with his earlier synthpop jams. Somebody Will leaves us aglow and ever grateful that he’s ventured deeply into electronic music territory even though we do still miss his older offerings. Snag the track, here.

Our love affair with Lincoln Jesser began many suns ago, when the Los Angeles based musician used to woo us with synthpop and electronic pop. Since then, Lincoln Jesser has gone all in on dance music. With it, he’s found great success, too. It’s obvious he has a knack for crafting euphonious deep house, as can be heard on new single Right By You. This rosy vibrant, summer breezy dance melter is sweetly lifting and warmly comforting. “Even hell with you is ecstasy,” coos Lincoln Jesser in that unmistakably downy voice. We dance, and we sigh, in hopes that we’ll meet someone to sing that very line to ourselves. Right By You can be streamed on Soundcloud below. Purchase the single from digital retailers, here, via Spinnin’ Deep.

Los Angeles’ Lincoln Jesser has been taking us to sonic heaven for quite some time now, having graced IHM’s pages with many fabulous synthpop jams over the past two years. But Lincoln ventures far into dance territory on his new production work. He follows up on his remix of K.Flay’s FML with a deep house original named Time Will Tell that features Samuel Jacob on slick vocals. It’s a collaboration that fills me with euphoria, having been a huge supporter of Samuel Jacob too in some of his other projects. Time Will Tell is a high energy summer banger, one whose infectious groove sinks in, takes hold, and never let’s go. Time Will Tell us out now on Spinnin’ Record,s and you can grab it from various outlets, here.

I’m reeling and exhausted from eight shows in eleven nights (my “fauxchella” here in the Bay) including a surprise Local Natives show at Popscene last night where we were the lucky few to hear them debut new material for the first time. I’m needing a dose of revitalizing energy. Delivering that exact punch I need is this remix of K.Flay’s red hot smash FML by Los Angeles’ Lincoln Jesser. FML has been remixed by a long list of respected producers, and it was a pleasant surprise to see an edit surface crafted by the oft IHM praised indie artist who we don’t normally associate with remixing projects. Lincoln Jesser’s FML slaps and digs, jounces and bounces, but it’s also sleek and steady, a dreamy dark, deeply thumping house remix.

I was much surprised to see a song surface from Los Angeles’ Lincoln Jesser that features Malaysian soul and R&B pop artist Yuna on guest vocals. I’d never imagined the two would link up, but what a delight it is that they have, because Baby Boy is a wildly infectious and vibrant indie electronic gem. Lincoln Jesser goes deep and lavish on the radiant house flavored treat, while Yuna delivers her ever beautiful and earthy vocals. Baby Boy is available from various outlets, here.

I love it when artists I’m fond of surprise me with huge collaborations. In this case, Shoffy joined up with fellow Southern Californian Lincoln Jesser on a jamming burst of pop, R&B, and dance music on Takes My Body Higher. It’s a summery explosion of lavish beats, swooning crooning, and infectious melody from Shoffy’s spanking new EP, “conversations in the a.m.”. I feel like it’s been ages since Lincoln Jesser has gifted us a new tune, and eons since I caught him slay it live at Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco. It certainly made my day that much better when Lincoln shot this new tune over, titled In My Place. The synthy pop artist from Southern California creates a riveting, danceable soundscape on In My Place, with its deep, bouncy house beats, paired with a surprisingly haunting and lamenting vibe. The hooking new single will be available June 5th on Astrix / Ministry Of Sound.

IHM has been a long time fan of Southern California synthpop artist Lincoln Jesser. He may have recently dropped his debut album Modern Color, but he’s back at it again with brand new treat Golden. Golden is one of his most vivacious songs yet, with a pumping, dance inducing groove and warm, melodic hooks. Jesser be embarking on a short 5 stop tour come end of the month, with gigs in LA, SF, Santa Cruz, Seattle ,and Vancouver.

Today, Los Angeles artist Lincoln Jesser dropped his debut album Modern Color, from which I’ve featured many a fantastic synthpop treats. To mark the occasion, he’s offered up album tune Rolling Stones for our streaming pleasure. The lustrous synthpop track is exhilarating and enthralling with its lush production and lively hooks. I find myself reminded of Robert DeLong on this one.
