Over the golden waves of the Pacific we traverse to visit Sydney, where Lilt has recorded their much anticipated follow up to their debut EP at The Grove Studios with Scott Horscroft (Empire Of The Sun, The Presets, Alison Wonderland). Off that endeavor comes Wait No More, a visceral driving yet graceful lilting electropop song with vocals reminiscent of both Florence Welch and Hannah Reid and a stuttering soundscape much ravishing and boldly spellbinding. This first single from Lilt’s self titled EP leaves me eagerly awaiting the rest of the project. Wait No More is available now from iTunes.

Australian act Lilt’s new song Don’t Tell Me is one of those divinely beautiful listens, with pure, crystalline vocals, which somewhat remind me of London Grammar’s Hannah Reid, gliding over a luscious, organically flowing production. It’s no wonder the gorgeous and dynamic song is getting some much deserved radio play and interest on Triple J radio over on that side of the world. Watch the video for the haunting, elegant song below, too.
