On Friday, KYKO, the South London based singer songwriter who’s been swooning us with his brand of summery indie pop for the past two years, dropped his new EP, Wildlife. The four track record is all that we love about KYKO. In fact, we’ve already shared three of those tunes with endless zeal. The final piece to this euphonic treat is a tune named Drive, on which KYKO whisks off our feet with plenteous tropical percussion and a wealth of balmy synthpop. Drive is a heartwarming affair, and a fast reminder why we’ve been huge fans of this artist for so long. Stream KYKO’s Wildlife EP in full on Soundcloud and purchase from iTunes. Drive can also be streamed off Soundcloud below.

After all our past dalliances with this man’s music, we know that there really is no other option but to eagerly “dive in” when it comes to fresh new KYKO. The South London based singer songwriter and expert purveyor of summer sparkling pop is back at it again, melting hearts and charming ears with his sweet sound on Dive In. This verdant & succulent tune is a balmy oasis. St. Lucia like tropical percussion and pastel 80′s waviness permeate KYKO’s new gem, a taste from his forthcoming Wildlife EP due out on March 10th. KYKO will be heading out on his debut headlining UK tour at the end of March. Dive In will be available as a single come tomorrow, March 3rd.

If anyone owes anybody anything, it’s probably me who owes a lot to both UK producer Draper and South London singer songwriter KYKO after the lustrous glistening bliss they’ve delivered me into with new song I.O.U. Golden drips of KYKO’s balmy tropical pop trickle into Draper’s sensual springing electronica. I.O.U. is nimble and frisky, a sexy intoxicating soiree that takes us back into the thick of a romance filled summer. The single comes from Draper’s new guest talent studded EP, fittingly named Luminous, out now via iTunes

When I hear the name KYKO, my mind inadvertently turns towards sunshine and blue skies, palm trees and coconuts, islands and white sand beaches. This may be due to the fact that the singer songwriter from London chose an alliterative name that sounds like a tropical paradise, but it’s probably more because we’ve come to associate him with lustrous shimmering, balmy glowing pop. KYKO single handedly holds the end of summer at bay with his new song, Horizon, an infectious sparkler from his forthcoming ‘Wildlife’ EP, due for release in winter. I know who I’ll be listening to when I need to keep warm during the frigid cold of the holidays. KYKO’s Horizon is a synth pumping, verdant luscious indie pop song, a Bastille and Gryffin chimera full of life. Horizon will be out as a single on September 2nd.

We can always count on KYKO to warm our hearts with the South London singer songwriter’s sparkling music. New song Native is yet another dewy indie pop song to add to his growing repertoire of moving music. The talented 19 year old singer songwriter is obviously on track to become a force to be reckoned with in the scene, having released excellent EP Animals last year and continuing to dish out more of his summery earworms. If The 1975, Ghost Beach, and Bastille were to get emulsified into one pulse quickening, blissful confection, KYKO would most certainly be it. KYKO will be playing his first headline show at The Camden Barfly on March 29th. This is going to be a massive year for him. Native is available now on iTunes.

I knew we hit the music jackpot when I encountered KYKO’s debut earlier this year, and now the young singer songwriter from South London is going to thaw our hearts all over again with a new one. Pull Me Up is a feathery indie pop gem emanating an inviting warmth while trickling out endless sparkling melody. It’s a song drenched in The 1975 sweetness and overflowing with Bastille infectiousness. The fast rising 19 year old singer songwriter made waves with debut EP Animals earlier this year, racking up over a million plays across all platforms. With this return, KYKO makes it obvious he’s about to make an even greater impact as 2016 approaches. Pull Me Up will be out on LAB Records this Friday, November 27th.

Wolfskind returns with one of his gorgeous remixes in the form of a bright and glowing remix of British singer songwriter KYKO’s debut from earlier this year, Animals. The German producer takes Animals’ alt pop hooks and infectious melody, which reminded me of Coasts and Bastille, and creates a wildly infectious and vividly vibrant indie dance jam. The summery vibe on the tune is perfect for the heat wave we’re getting yet again here in San Francisco this weekend.
