Kygo continues to provide us with uplifting anthems and feel good pop and dance hybrids as he reveals yet another magnificent collaboration. This time around, UK vocal powerhouse John Newman has lent his voice to Kygo’s Never Let You Go, giving it a soulful boost to go along with its tropical house and folk house vibrancy. Never Let You Go is a glowing, comforting breath of sunshine and exultant joy. Kygo’s new album Kids In Love, which drops on November 3rd, is shaping up to be quite the autumnal delight.

It’s always rather vindicating when an emerging indie act we’ve been praising, like Boston’s The Night Game, makes a much welcome cameo on a well established artist’s new song. The alt band, who’ve already made quite a name for themselves this year and toured with the likes of John Mayer on top of their own headlining tour, lend their vocals to Kygo’s nostalgic new song, Kids In Love. It’s an alt pop and indie dance leaning turn for the producer once most known for his tropical house compositions, and a very heartrending, mellifluous lulling listen at that. Get ready to soar through the sky to this sweeping anthem, which is also available to stream via Spotify, here.

Earlier this week, we shared Gryffin’s glorious remix of Kygo and Ellie Goulding’s hit single First Time, which is a part of the new official remix pack that just dropped for the song. We now turn to Dutch producer R3HAB for the other half of that release. His high stepping, vivacious whomping remix is just as magnificent. It’s energetic flickering melodic bass and future trap leaves me ever excited for an epic weekend peering at us from just around the corner.

Exactly one week ago, Gryffin was performing to an elated crowd of dance music fans in the Mad Decent tent at ID10T Music Festival and Comic Conival. The Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer was on fire, as he’s been each and every time we’ve seen him since his live debut at SnowGlobe Music Festival a few years ago. If there’s one word that can describe this man’s live show, it’s “glorious”. Today, we take flight alongside Gryffin once again as he presents us with his new remix of Kygo and Ellie Goulding’s massive collaboration, First Time. His intricately crafted, dulcet sweeping dance edit features all that we love about Gryffin, be it his extra layers of impassioned instrumentals or its high springing, lofty soaring vibrancy. Gryffin’s edit is a part of the new remixes pack out for First Time which also features a re-work by R3HAB. You can purchase or stream the remixes, here. IHM was fortunate enough to chat with Gryffin after his stupendous set at ID10T. You can read our interview, here.

Lost Boy provides a shimmering tropical pop hit ‘Poison’. I’m already anticipating the remixes that will come in once this hits the radio. It’s Lost Boy’s first single and I don’t have much information on the talented vocalist and/or producer, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from Lost Boy.

The very first official remix of The Weeknd’s smashing new Daft Punk produced single Starboy comes from none other than tropical house king Kygo. The Norwegian producer has been relatively quiet since the release of his star studded debut album Cloud Nine earlier this year, so this remix is most certainly a welcome return and unexpected surprise. Starboy gets the signature chill melodic, tropical balmy Kygo treatment. It’s the perfect way to transition our way into the weekend after a rather dramatic and glum week.

Considering the fact that the new video for Kygo’s Carry Me is fast on its way to half a million views in less than a day is not at all surprising, and it serves to convince me that you’ve likely already watched the video. But I simply can’t resist sharing the serenely sublime song and its new summery visualizer. Carry Me is an uplifting blanket of chill sparkling tropical house featuring heartfelt endearing vocals by singer songwriter Julia Michaels. The feel good tune is the third single from Kygo’s album, Cloud Nine. Grab the album on iTunes if you haven’t already spent a large chunk of this past summer daydreaming away to its songs.

Kygo unleashed his highly anticipated debut album Cloud Nine last Friday, a guest star studded compendium of versatile electronica. While it was impossibly hard to select a track to share off the release (that wasn’t already shared and there are plenty of new tunes revealed with the album release), I can’t help but gravitate towards Serious, which features sweet luxuriant cooing by Australian singer songwriter Matt Corby. As Kygo has been demonstrating in the months leading up to Cloud Nine, the trop house king has spruced his game up with far more than uplifting summery dance music. Serious is a weightless lullaby, an airy and breezy soulful dance ballad. Let the chill house gem carry you away to the very “cloud nine” referenced in the title of Kygo’s debut album. You can stream that tour de force release in full on Soundcloud.

If you haven’t heard the latest Kygo yet, you’re in for something really special. I’m In Love, the newest taster from the producer’s much ancticipated, guest talent studded debut album, features one of the best male vocalists from Canada, James Vincent McMorrow.  The melodically thrusting tune sees Kygo melding his usual tropical glow with plenty of soulful magnificence. In the end, I’m In Love is a rapturous song that feels more Josef Salvat and Jack Garratt than Kygo’s old tropical house style. Cloud Nine drops May 13th, and it’s already proven itself more than capable of taking us to great heights of sonic joy. Pre-order from iTunes.

From our last feature of a much venerated trop house producer, we move on to yet another producer known for some time now as a trop house king. Except, Kygo has been doing some sensational things across the board with his originals of late, surprising us at every turn with much welcome collaborations with other stellar acts from all ends of the music spectrum. On new song Raging, Kygo teams up with Irish alt rock band Kodaline to give us a folksy chill house beauty, one that the producer co-wrote with James Bay. A song that involves Kodaline, James Bay, and Kygo can be nothing but marvelous, and Raging is a colossal combination of all three’s fortes. Passionate and melting Raging soars brilliantly, another exceptional taste from Kygo’s highly anticipated debut album Cloud Nine. Purchase singles revealed so far from the album at iTunes or pre-order Cloud Nine prior to its May 13th release.
