You can’t really fault me for being glad that Kill Paris never ended up changing his name, right? I mean, the inspiration behind it a few years ago was nothing but honorable and respectable, but I would never have gotten used to calling him anything else but Kill Paris. The long time production luminary has returned with a dreamy stirring, flushed and sentimental future bass aria named Made Of Time, featuring dewy vocals by fellow Californian Trove as well as misty aureate cooing by Emily Vaughn (both of whom contributed to writing the song, too). Made Of Time is a fleecy embrace, whose gentle lurches and sweetly melting ambiance can thaw the coldest of hearts. You can also stream Made Of Time via Spotify, here.

Long time electronic magnate Kill Paris delights us with a languorous shimmering, dreamy lush future soundscape on the Los Angeles producer’s latest original, Out of the Dark. It’s an illuminating and melodic lifting future bass composition that soothes and entrances with its blissed out synths and supple keys. In your darkest moments, this is the sort of music that will give you a sense of hope and bring you out of the shadows. You can also stream Kill Paris’ Out of the Dark via Spotify, here.

Veteran production mogul Kill Paris may have dropped one of the month’s biggest electronic offerings in the form of Red Lights, featuring Stockholm based chanteuse Dotter and her lofty swooping, sultry fierce vocals. Red Lights is a dynamic shifting, bouncy chugging explosion of robust house, luxuriant electro, and funky nu-disco. Dreamy ethereal, chill mellifluous electronica bursts forth with spirit as Red Lights migrates into its choppy pulsing, synth pummeling crests. Red Lights is smoldering hot, a palatial banger you can download free, here.

DNMO, the young English production prodigy that gave us those stunning remixes of MOONZz and Pegboard Nerds / NGHTMRE last year, is back with a wicked new edit. “Addicted” I truly am to DNMO’s remix of veteran producer Kill Paris’ massive jam Junkie, featuring Nevve & Monstre on stunning vocals. DNMO continues his swift ascension in the production ranks with this face melting electro trap and bass spectacular. It jounces and chops mercilessly, a brazen and gutsy adventure with majestic aplomb and whomping poise. The spasmodic dazzler is a free download, here.

We return to the magnificence of Illenium’s colossal Ashes Remixes package for another scintillating taste from its cosmic catalog. Veteran Los Angeles based production pro Kill Paris contributed a breathtaking edit to the package, and it’s no surprise at all that the remix has already achieved close to half a million streams on Soundcloud. Kill Paris reports that he really connected with Only One, which features Nina Sung, so he was super stoked to give it his own edit. Kill Paris’ melodic remix is light and drafty, an aerial chill glide through puffy soft clouds. If you’ve yet to check out the rest of Illenium’s Ashes Remix package, it’s out now on iTunes.

The chill Lostboycrow song ‘Powers’ gets an upbeat electronic spin from his buddy Kill Paris. There’s future bass, soul, and the swoonful R&B vocals that make this track irresistibly sexy. Lostboycrow recently played with X Ambassadors and will be in LA November 13th.

Denver’s Illenium never fails to thrill and captivate me with his atmospheric brand of melodic dubstep music. This never rings more true than on his new emotionally charged remix of veteran producer Kill Paris’ Operate, which features D.C. producer and vocalist Royal (who’s one half of SoySauce, too, if you didn’t know). Illenium’s official remix simmers gorgeously in a mellifluously expansive manner, melting and swooning with its exquisite swells and resounding bass. I literally feel my heart dilating along with Illenium’s undulating soundscape and monumental spaciousness. Ever talented Illenium will be performing at various festivals soon, including Global Dance Festival, Das Energi, Dancefestopia, and Imagine Music Festival. Download the remix for free, here.

If ALMA’s heavenly vocals or her name sound familiar to you, then you’ve probably heard last year’s hit song Avalanches, which was co-produced by such production greats as Sound Remedy and Kill Paris. Now, Alma is gearing up to release a debut EP. The first single from that record is a cosmic electronic pop song named Watcher. Produced by Virtu, it’s a M83 dreamy electronic number, with soaring, cathartic soundscapes. ALMA turns in a brilliant performance on breathy, opulent vocals, with a White Sea meets FKA Twigs and Banks sort of appeal. The forthcoming EP will drop soon on Kill Paris’ label Sexy Electric.

Just today, OWSLA’s veteran producer Kill Paris released his new album Galaxies Between Us. Operate is off said release, and it features none other than extensively IHM featured Washington, D.C. producer and vocalist Royal, who if you’ve been paying attention, is also one half of hot electronic duo SoySauce. The two join forces to create a stunning single for the new album, full of lustful allure and a meticulously slow build up of exhilarating energy and bass.
