Life is more than beautiful when you have someone like French production phenom Kidswaste to soundtrack your days. The producer sends tingles down our spines with a stunning new future pop/future bass twinkler named Beautiful Life, featuring none other than fast ascending pop artist Sophie Simmons, who just gave us a dark scorcher of a pop dazzler named Burn Me Down a few weeks ago. She lends soft, honeyed vocals to Kidswaste’s new song, enchanting us to the utmost alongside a phosphorescent pleat of ornately trickling beats and gently plinking keys. Stream/download life-affirming Beautiful Life, here.

Manila Killa sure is a busy man these days. Not only is he on a massive tour with his buddy Candle Weather as prominent electronic duo Hotel Garuda, but the Moving Castle luminaries just dropped a funkalicious new track named Dancing On The Moon with Lemaitre, too. Now, Manila Killa has teamed up with French phenom Kidswaste on a new track named Tonight to give us a very different kind of sound. Tonight is a soft glittering cascade of celestial beauty. Chelsea Cutler provides svelte airy vocals on the chill future beats and downtempo future pop song. Kidswaste and Manila Killa saturate us with gently sanguine yearning with their stunning song’s leisurely sparkle and dreamy floating texture. Stream/download Tonight, here.

French producer Kidswaste, who’s also a member of super collective Slow Hours, follows up on his recent remixes of Petit Biscuit and What So Not with a breathtaking new original named Fade, featuring New York indie folk brothers Hunting Stories on beautiful vocals. Fade is a majestic charging chill electronic song brimming with heart bursting emotion. “I met Hunting Stories around two years ago when I was just getting into producing”, says Kidswaste. “I loved their sound and told them I wanted to collaborate in the future with them once the opportunity arose. In late 2016 we revisited the idea and decided to start something. They sent me the vocals for ‘Fade’ and I instantly fell in love with it. I got most of the main ideas done in five hours, it was all really organic and it’s definitely come to be one of my proudest projects. ‘Fade’ feels really indicative of where my sound is heading and I’m really excited to share it”. The song they’ve crafted together is like Ry X and Of Monsters And Men gone diaphanous dream folk and earthy chill house, with a bit of filous’ mellow stirring, organic strumming timbre in its foundations. The sheer amount of production talent that makes up supergroup Slow Hours is jaw dropping. The French collective involves Lain, Kultur, Astre, Khamsin, Kidswaste, and Rusty Hook. They first rocketed out of France four months ago as a united front on an exceptional remix of What So Not and Ganz’s Lone, featuring Joy. They’ve now given Petit Biscuit’s Sunset Lover the an epic transformation. The summer breezy, wistful nostalgic aria goes grand atmospheric on Slow Hours’ remix. Its orchestral magnificence reminds me of British composer Max Richter. But then that symphonic narrative explodes into vibrant fireworks. Electro house, future bass, and dubstep fuse together robustly to create a widescreen reel of technicolor brilliance. This tour the force sprawler is on the new Sunset Lover Remix EP, out now and available from iTunes, here. The six track release also features edits by Daktyl, Bearcubs, Clément Bazin, and OTR.

Kidswaste was obviously not “playing to lose” when the French producer took on Lemaitre’s Playing To Lose, featuring Stanaj. He’s given the track a massive makeover, turning the summery lush, sultry impassioned song into a vast sprawling, cosmic soaring future bass dazzler. The chromatic sweeping spectacular defies the confines of space, filling every crevice, crack, and rift from here until the ends of earth with its grand surging brilliance. Download the track for free from Toneden, then “play it to win”.

Heads up, electronic music loving kids! A new “supergroup” of French producers has formed, and their name is Slow Hours. Lain, Kultur, Astre, Khamsin, Kidswaste, and Rusty Hook have combined their bountiful talent to give us Slow Hour’s first track, a turbulently exhilarating and tremulously gripping remix of What So Not and Ganz’s Lone, featuring JOY. This ruffled intense bass and trap remix is wildly tempestuous yet chromatically stunning, a ferocious gleaming eruption of gut punching beauty. What So Not promises a full Divide and Conquer remix package soon. In the meantime, you can stream or purchase that EP, here. Slow Hours’ Lone remix can be downloaded free, here.

Next Wave Records, always keen on presenting us only the best of the best, has unveiled the very first track from Kidwaste’s forthcoming EP, and it’s a beauty to behold. More Colors, which features Chelsea Cutler on delicately captivating, feathery gliding vocals, is one of the year’s most breathtaking electronic arias. The French producer has fashioned an ambient and ethereal dreamscape that walks a fine line between future beats and indie. More Colors is a gently pulling current whose chromatic sparkles and tender intimacy renders heaven and earth inseparable. I find myself filled with wonder, but at the same time, I’m reminded of how small I am, and how minuscule my worries are in light of all that exists. Kidswaste’s first taste from his Spleen EP is nothing short of a breathtaking experience. Purchase the single from iTunes as we await Spleen’s arrival on February 24th.

Beauvois is sort an alter ego of French producer Kidswaste. To be accurate, it’s the name he once created music under before switching over to the newer moniker, but apparently he’s continued to put out songs as Beauvois. Outside is a new track from that project, a sweet melting chill electronic lullaby that exposes his soft under belly. Sensitive and simplistic Outside consists of a stark melody, tender vocals, delicate guitar, and a gently ambient soundscape. It lulls me into a world of dreamy wonder. A sigh rises from me as Beauvois reminds us that as bad as it gets, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Download Outside from Soundcloud.
