It’s been some time since the last time we visited Norwegian band kakkmaddafakka, but there’s no doubt they still hold the throne when it comes to extraordinary band names. While it originally took me awhile to remember how to spell their name without looking (it’s sort of like the whole Mississippi thing), there’s no forgetting the magnificence of their airy, breezy blend of indie pop and rock. Kakkmaddafakka will be dropping their fourth full length album, KMF, come February 26th next year. Lead single Galapagos is a springy strider with an abundance of dreamy riffs drenched in hazy Autumn sunshine. Watch the laid back video for Galapagos above. The single is available as of today on iTunes.

Norwegian indie rock band Kakkmaddafakka’s new tunes just keep getting better and better. Here’s their bright, light hearted, pop leaning new track Young and the vibrant video for the tune. These guys have been gaining a ton more buzz lately, and it’s much deserved. We’ll likely hear more about them stateside soon. They aren’t fresh on the scene, but they have a new album in the works.

Kakkmaddafakka are back with a new tune and new video. Forever Alone is a charming little sentimental indie rock track from the Norwegian band. The sugary track is off their new album Six Months Is A Long Time. Also check out German electronic producer Roosevelt’s remix of Kakkmaddafakka’s Someone New, also off the new disc. It’s quite delightful, trust me.

Norwegian indie rock band Kakkmaddafakka has a new video for us titled No Song. It’ll be on their coming third album Six Month Is A Long Time out in June. These guys first fell on my radar back in March with their video for their single Bill Clinton, which features footage from the Michael Cera starring film Youth In Revolt. I’ll reshare it below. They have a light, breezy, and playful alt rock sound.

Say hello to Norwegian indie rock band Kaffmaddafakka and their new track Bill Clinton, a great specimen of pop filled funky fun. The video they put together for the track is made up of footage from the film Youth in Revolt starring Michael Cera. The song is light and bright, sure to lift any heavy heart. Kaffmaddafakka have been around for awhile now, and they have a new album in the works as of yet untitled.

I’m new to these guys, so I looked up some more of their music. Digging. Below is Restless from back in 2011.
