Justice’s We Are Your Friends is a French house classic that’s more than survived the test of time since it first dropped in 2002. It takes some guts to take on such a song for a remix, but production brothers TWO LANES more than prove their mettle once again as they give us an exhilarating update by turning the track into a rambunctious whirring, bass romping spectacular. Seismic thrusts, percolating jabs, and vigorous surges leave us gasping for air on the blowout trap and future bass edit. Download TWO LANES’ remix, here.

Though Stop isn’t a brand new track from French legends Justice, anything fresh from the duo, including a music video, is cause for celebration.

Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay surprise us with a spiffy new animated video for the track off their excellent 2016 album Woman just as they’re preparing to perform at Google I/O tech festival tomorrow. The set will be livestreamed on YouTube. I’m some glitzy French house will spruce up your week and propel you over hump day. Justice is also playing a ton of festivals this summer in Europe. But they won’t be making it stateside till the fall, when they hit Life Is Beautiful and Austin City Limits. Watch Justice’s show at Google I/O conference tomorrow, here.

I’m always down for a slamming dose of Justice, and the legendary French electro house duo just dropped a music video today (warning: NSFW) for Pleasure off of their 2016 album Woman. It’s directed by acclaimed artist/director Alexandre Courtès of Division, and it depicts two lovers intertwined in passion before becoming part of an abstract, cosmic explosion, leading to the birth of new life. In other words, we’re witness to a big bang to go along with banging Pleasure. Justice recently headlined the Glastonbury Festival’s West Holts Stage, where they premiered their new “The Church” live show, featuring groudn breaking and awe-inspiring production. They’ll be taking it on the road this fall with a handful of slots in Europe, the UK, and Los Angeles at Camp Flog Gnaw. I’m really hoping they’ll add some additional dates, like, say… one in San Francisco? Pleasure is available, here.

This is far too fresh and sick a mashup masterpiece not to give it a share and spread the music wealth to more of you like-minded music heads. Sadboy Sheldon, a producer and DJ from Adelaide, Australia, is apparently known for creating unexpected sonic menageries. A†ROCI†Y EXHIBI†ION is his epic Danny Brown and Justice mashup. You read that right, Danny Brown and Justice. And what a sixteen minute force of a creation it is. You can download the propulsive hip hop and French electro house emulsion from Bandcamp, here. Songs used in the mashup include:

Justice – Genesis
Justice – Let There Be Light
Justice – Phantom, Pt. 1 & 2
Danny Brown – Aint It Funny
Danny Brown – Grown Up
Danny Brown – I Will
Paul White – Accelerator (feat. Danny Brown)
Danny Brown – Lie4
Danny Brown – Die Like A Rockstar

We’re breaking protocol today by kicking it off with this ridiculously good remix of some Justice. I’ve been bumping Boys Noize’s edit of Justice’s Randy from their 2016 album Woman since I stumbled upon it yesterday. It’s a bass propulsive, tech jouncing treatment that stays true to Justice’s French house roots. It’s but one of many sensational tunes Ed Banger has been dropping lately in preparation for the arrival of their new compilation Ed Rec 100, which marks the esteemed label’s 100th release. For more delicious treats from the likes of Breakbot, Cassius, and more, head to their Youtube channel, here. You can pre-order Ed Rec 100 or purchase its singles ahead of Friday release day at iTunes, here.

Innovative incognito production virtuoso k?d has already given us one of the year’s best remixes in the form of his edit of French duo Daft Punk’s Doin It Right (among so many other incredible remixes and originals), but it’s another French duo that he turns his attention to for his latest jaw dropping, face melting gift. This time around, he’s taken on Justice and their beloved hit We Are Your Friends, the pair’s tweak on Simian’s Never Be Alone from the mid-2000′s. While I’d normally say it takes an incredible amount of guts to remix such a classic anthem, I must remind you that we’re talking about k?d here, who seems to have the acumen and skills to do justice (ahem, pun intended) to any song in the universe with his creative re-imaginings. k?d is invincible these days. His version of We Are Your Friends is pure epicness, a rapid pounding burst of electronic fireworks. Now, I’m truly ready for the weekend. But I may end up daydreaming about seeing k?d live and dancing away at home to his spectacular jams instead. This heavy hitter may cause some neighborly complaints from below, but that’s an unmanageable issue in light of the brilliance that is k?d. Download this euphoric rattling, earth shaking, adrenaline pumping remix for free, here.

Legendary French dudes JUSTICE unleashed a video for their epic new single, “ALAKAZAM !” on Friday, and I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the weekend than to drop this crushing electro jam on right now. The only problem is the video is going to leave you wishing you could start the weekend all over again with its in-the-moment live footage. We’re dropped smack dab in the middle of the crowd at a Justice show, raised cell phones, pumping fists and all, for a mad dashing adrenaline rush as JUSTICE stirs the crowd into an absolute frenzy. Suddenly, I find myself insanely jealous of friends attending Beach Goth down in SoCal, where JUSTICE happens to be a headliner. At least I have new album Woman to look forward to on November 18th, and perhaps, a tour on the horizon? In the meantime, I’ll turn down the lights here at home, find a YouTube video that strobes in color, and sweat out a storm as I lunge at the ceiling in tune to the pounding beats, heaving bass, glorified synths, and whirring drums on gratifying “ALAKAZAM !” JUSTICE always knows how to work that sonic magic. Preorder Woman from various outlets, here, if you’re completely irrational and haven’t done so yet.

Perhaps you were hiding under a rock last month and you somehow managed to miss a brand new Justice track. I’m astonished that such a huge release would somehow slip past you, but don’t worry, the legendary French duo have unleashed an uber cool music video for Randy. The video is a “live installation” by Thomas Jumin, an “audio, video, disco” delight, pun intended. Randy is sleek and shiny, funky and smooth. Randy is lifted from Justice’s third album, Woman, which the duo have now announced will be released on November 18th. It’s a magnificent time for French electro fans like me, considering a new Justice album is on the horizon and a whole lot of Daft Punk rumors are floating about. Randy can be purchased as a single from various outlets, here.

Over the summer, French legends Justice revealed their first new single in five long years. Safe And Sound left us salivating for more and hoping for the announcement of a new full length. Today, our prayers have been answered. Though details and a release date are yet to be revealed, we now know that an album named Woman will be coming later this year. That’s right, rejoice! Along with the fabulous news comes a new song, Randy, a song as sleek and shiny as chrome. Xavier and Gaspard deliberately gave the psychedelic disco and funky electro jam a unisex name, playing on the fact that opposites attract, just like how the rough edges of the track enthrall in conjunction with Morgan Phalen’s soft velvety voice on this climactic gem. Snag the single from various outlets, here, and let’s wait in unison for more news about new album Woman.

Today’s an epic day. And I believe many of you might already know why. Today, Justice revealed their first new single in five long years. We’ve been waiting. We’ve been waiting what feels like an eternity. And it was well worth the fidgeting, the hoping, the restlessness. Safe And Sound, which the world had a preview of when Ed Banger’s Pedro Winter (Busy P) dropped the track during his set at Sonar, is completely and wholly glorious. Safe And Sound is an electro disco house opera, an intensive retro funk and chorale levitating spectacular. I want to hold my hands up to the sky and sing spiritual praises to Justice. Nile Rodgers would also be very satisfied with the plucky strings on this jam. Could Safe And Sound be the first first material in a flurry of new tunes? Could there be a new Justice album on its way, and a new tour? Patience, my friends. Patience. Download Safe And Sound, here:
