I’m a massive fan of funky UK collective Jungle (and greatly look forward to finally catching them live next month), so simply put, if you’re going to remix any of the tracks off their brilliant debut album, you’d better do it well and really bring something new to the table. Joy Orbison did more than alright by me on the British producer’s entrancing remix of The Heat. Wait till you get past the 3:15 mark… and get ready for some chills.

Rising trio London Grammar did an hour mix for BBC radio. Stream their Annie Nightingale Guest Mix, which includes an intro and interview in the beginning. As I figured would happen when I first stumbled upon them late last year, they’ve garnered a lot of critical acclaim and a growing fanbase. There are some real goodies on their mix.

Mwahaha. You will never get away from Video Games. Evarrrr! Just when it seemed to quiet down in regards to Lana Del Rey Video Games remixes and covers, London producer Joy Orbison decides to throw us a music video for his trippy, garage remix. The video doesn’t really have anything new to it, it’s more of a “remix” video.

Ummm…

Hereeeeeeee we go again. Today’s Lana del Rey post. LOL. Joy Orbison did a version of Video Games. *sigh* Like I said, this is going to be the MOST remixed, covered, and collaborated track of the year! And for the most part, each version is very different and carries a far different feel from the other versions. Ready for a more house and garage infused, pulsing, head bopping Video Games? No? Sick of the song yet?
