Mighty fine remixes of Martin Garrix’s Dua Lipa featuring crossover hit Scared To Be Lonely continue to crop up these days, with the latest can’t miss edit arriving by way of prolific Australian producer Joe Mason. The young rising talent has been making some formidable waves with his remixes this year, and he continues to rake in new fans with this choppy brisk, earthy organic indie dance hued edit. Joe Mason layers on his own instrumental texture onto Scared To Be Lonely, giving it a snug cozy allure with additional drumwork and guitar lines. Even if you were “scared to be lonely”, Joe Mason’s remix would comfort your worried soul and alleviate your unease. Grab or stream the track at major outlets, here. I love XYLØ so much that I gleefully wrote about the Los Angeles based electronic pop pair exactly a year ago for an official SXSW guide, so you could say I’m always game for a fine remix of one of their tunes, much less one by Sydney production whiz Joe Mason. The prolific talent responsible for so many other amazing remixes this past year gives Get Closer a smooth but intense, polished yet lavish future makeover. “You want to live just like kings and queens, then,” sings XYLØ on their song. Joe Mason’s future bass remix is exactly the regal thrilling interpretation of their dusky haunting gem that’s fit for royalty. Grab the remix, here.

I’m still very much addicted and obsessed with Stalgia’s BDY, a lustful and suspenseful, flushed and provocative fusion of atmospheric electronica, sensual R&B, and entrancing hip hop beats. The Los Angeles based duo recently release a music video for BDY which you can view below. An incredible remix package for BDY also surfaced last week, off which comes this electrifying edit by Joe Mason. BDY’s future bass and melodic trap transformation is nothing short of grand and dramatic. The Sydney producer endows BDY with precipitous drops and regal surges. This BDY is so panoptic sweeping that it’s more “bodies” than “body”… lots and lots of bodies, moving together in exultant euphoria. Joe Mason’s official BDY remix is available from various sources, here

Last Friday, Norwegian sibling duo KREAM unleashed a remix package for their crystalline enchanting, radiant bounding dance anthem Taped Up Heart, a much endearing treat featuring Sweden’s Clara Mae on vocals. The release includes three new versions of Taped Up Heart including edits by Lash, DISTO, & Joe Mason. Today, we dance joyfully to Joe Mason’s beautifully expansive remix. The fast rising Australian producer cools down some of the frisky heat on the original to give us a meditative cruising and serene bouncing Taped Up Heart. Joe Mason’s remix is still fiercely energetic, but in a very different manner. If the original could be described as rosy red, Joe Mason’s is deep blue like the ocean. Stream and download the full Taped Up Heart remix package, here. Watch the music video for the original below.

It was a match made in heaven when gifted rising production star Steve James linked up with satin melting indie outfit RKCB on a satin lilting future beats aria named In My Head earlier this year. The Hollywood producer takes his song on an cross ocean jaunt as he partners up with Sydney’s Joe Mason for a re-work of his own track. The two electronic artists mold the original into a creamy downtempo groover. In My Head simmers softly and burns gently, caressing us with tender chops and fleecy beats. The breathtaking remix arrived last month on Joe Mason’s 18th birthday. Happy belated birthday, Joe. Thanks for the transcendental sonic present you’ve given us alongside Steve James. Steve James and Joe Mason’s remix of In My Head is a free download, here.

Sydney’s Joe Mason professes his love for Scars To Your Beautiful, one of immensely talented singer songwriter Alessia Cara’s endearing tunes, by giving it a stellar remix. It’s near impossible for your heart not to melt to this lofty fluttering, melodic wobbling edit. I swear the dark room I’m writing from has lit up tenfold, sparkling under a rosy glow thanks to Joe Mason’s genre defying remix, one that pairs summery house with melodic dubstep. This rather optimistic and hopeful track breathes new life into my elections savaged heart. Download Joe Mason’s grand remix from Toneden.

Over the summer, Dutch duo The Him and Los Angeles’ satin crooner Oktavian made a diving pairing on Balance, a future tropical gem with vivacious jabs and exuberant hops. A truly international affair arises as Sydney producer Joe Mason gives us a spectacular remix, a regal warbling, dramatic impassioned future bass interpretation thoroughly exhilarating. This furiously energetic, mightily enthralling edit is staggering. And it’s a free download, here.

I’m in love with Sydney producer Joe Mason’s take on LA electropop & R&B soul swooners RKCB’s Elevated. It’s a new sort of elevation that he gives us with his smooth future bass and wavy trap edit. It’s not often that we get to listen to a remix of an RKCB song, but Joe Mason has me convinced this needs to be happen a whole lot more. The weighty punch and choppy rumble of the cathartic remix highlight’s RKCB’s stunning vocals even more than usual. Joe Mason’s remix of Elevated is a free download, here.

I’ve got my eyes, er, ears, on a new producer out of Sydney named Joe Mason. Though he only has two tracks listed on his Soundcloud so far, the 17 year old whiz kid is already blowing minds and winning hearts over with his sensational remixes. The second of those tunes is a newly revealed official remix of The Chainsmokers’ Inside Out, ft. Charlee, a song much remixes and well loved already. Joe Mason gives it an atmospheric future bass and melodic bass remix fully majestic and magnificent. It takes me to great expanses of regal beauty, shoots me high into the sky with its cinematic verve, and near turns me inside out as my heart swells with rampant emotion. Download Joe Mason’s remix free, here. For more of this talented newcomer, stream his very first track on Soundcloud, a brilliant remix of Ember Island’s version of Can’t Feel My Face below.
