Fresh off their collaboration with brassy electro-funk brothers French Horn Rebellion comes new Patawawa jam Lie, a swanky twirling disco banger through and through. Its French house swagger is as infectious as a classic Daft Punk jam, with a whole lot of frisky synths and scalding beats. Patawawa’s put out some fantastic songs in the past, but Lie might be their best yet. It’s a solid gold track that also reminds me of some of my favorite Flight Facilities tracks of yore, due to its rich, sultry vocals and its plucky attitude. LIE is the first song revealed from Cookie Records’ new compilation Crispy Groove, out in early June. Download/stream Patawawa’s swag new tune, here.

For all the years we’ve been following along with Monogem and the singer songwriter’s sultry burning pop, we’ve still yet to catch her live! Perhaps that will all change next week in Austin, where we’re hoping our schedule will allow us to groove out to Jen Hirsch and her Los Angeles based project. In the meantime, she gets us more than “high” with a welcome return to the new music scene.  Smoldering heater Get You High is her first single since her 2017 EP, 100%. Its muggy, steamy electro-soul and sweet vibey R&B pop leaves us flushed and fevered on this cool March morning. Monogem collaborated with friends like producer Ryan Levine (of WIldling) and co-writer Sydney Wayder (of CLARA-NOVA) on the lavish new jam. The single is out now via AWAL / Kobalt. You can find Get You High on iTunes, here.

If I had a nifty penthouse of my own on top of some glamorous skyscraper in the city, I’d probably want to throw wild parties by my rooftop pool and jam out to Penthouse Penthouse all the time. The LA based production duo steams up our night with their sultry smoldering, glitzy cruising, & smooth grooving disco and electro on suave new single To The Sun, which features rising hip hop/rap sensation KingJet on glossy sleek guest vocals. To The Sun is Penthouse Penthouse’s latest single from Cruise Control, their full length album arriving tomorrow on Alpha Pup Records. Pre-order the album (or purchase, if it’s already Friday when you catch this post), here.

On Call is an exhilarating track we shared previously half a year ago, but now that it’s been re-released on Foreign Family Collective, its psychedelic spiraling electro-soul and saucy slinking electronica are ripe for a re-share. The song comes from NYC based songwriter and producer White Cliffs, and it’s quite the dashing, swaggering funk imbued, bass profuse jam. It’s near impossible not to shuffle your feet and swing your hips to the plucky, stylish tune. Stream/download the single, here.

Last week, buttery alt R&B singer songwriter Sylo Nozra dropped his EP, Fervor. Let’s dim the lights and sway our hips to this gooey luscious, dapper swooning cut off the fine album. Meadows, which features Parisian producer Art Of Shades, warms the heart and leaves us dizzy flushed with its creamy electro-R&B and swanky heat. It’s a Tom Misch, Allan Rayman, and RKCB charmer, all rolled up in one jazzy posh jam. Stream Sylo Nozra’s Fervor EP in full on Soundcloud, here, or Spotify, here.

Earlier this month, Hudson Mohawke collaborators and genre defying alt talents Off Bloom released their five track EP, Lover Like Me, on Capitol Records. The title track is an excellent sampling of the Anglo-Danish trio’s trademark blend of noise pop, dancehall, and spry electronica that sounds kind of like MS MR, NAATIONS, and Mura Masa, all wrapped up in one epic glistering, vivacious capering song. Off Bloom’s new EP includes their song with Hudson Mohawke, “rockefe11a (F**k That To Be Honest), as well as previously shared tunes like Shut Up And Let Me Walk and more. Speaking about the EP’s creation, the band explains, “This EP is about love, sex, frustration, intoxication and of course loyalty loyalty loyalty. It’s a culmination of tracks that came together at very different times of our lives, all representing what we were feeling at the time, but with a similar vibe running through them.” Purchase the EP from iTunes, here.

Los Angeles producer Jayceeoh, who’s also known as one half of 1000Volts alongside hip hop legend Redman, has linked up with Orlando producers The Oddictions and husky voiced Floridian Britt Daley on a bonafide banger named Alright. The frisky flaring, glossy twirling anthem is exactly the sort of dancehall jam I’d want to get down to in the club on a hot summer night. The feel good swinger reminds me of Diplo’s collaborations with MØ. Alright is out now via Thrive Music. Grab the iridescent dance hit in the making from iTunes, here.

It’s been a very, very long wait, but it’s finally here! The Aces are back with their sophomore single! The Provo, Utah band blew everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, away when they swept on the scene with utterly infectious debut single Stuck early last year. They’ve since signed to Red Bull Records, under whose wings they must have been secretly honing their pop sensibility, because Physical is such a snappy hooking guitar pop jam! I had the pleasure of hearing this song live last month when I managed We Found New Music’s showcase at SXSW. I’m not going to lie, The Aces was definitely one of the acts on our lineup I was most excited to see. The four piece is a must if you’re a fan of the likes of Fleetwood Mac and HAIM, with an extra dose of funky groove. Snag the new tune from iTunes, here.

And we’re back on with some rad morning jams for your office dancing pleasure! 3LAU drops the heat with the next track from his new label BLUME. He teams up with Yeah Boy (Johnny Castro of Parachute Youth) for a massive dose of summery deep house. On My Mind is a opulently ravishing club anthem with a laced with steely yet fluid future house. The Vegas producer explains that he wrote this song with Yeah Boy at his parents’ house in Adelaide while he was touring in Australia two years ago. Since On My Mind is out on BLUME, this means all proceeds from streams and sales go to charity. 3LAU’s current goal is to raise $30,000 for ACLU, a mighty fine cause if you ask me. You can also stream On My Mind via Soundcloud below. Purchase or stream via additional sources, here.

Smooth debonair and creamy dashing falls short when it comes to describing the slinky seductive vibes emitting from Next Time, a finger snapping dance spectacular from London’s UTRECHT. Bob Moses meets Tourist with a touch of Fat Boy Slim on this lascivious throbbing, cool swaggering joint which features slick sliding vocals by Joe Ayer. The track is the third taste from UTRECHT’s forthcoming debut EP. For more from this producer and songwriter on the rise, check out prior singles on UTRECHT’s soundcloud.
