San Francisco’s own HIGHSOCIETY reaches new heights of electronic splendor on the producer’s new single, Fireproof, featuring Beta State’s Matty McDonald on heated vocals. He expertly melds stadium crushing future bass, metallurgic dubstep, and blazing trap on the adrenaline pumping track. Fireproof is a cinematic jarring, grandly jolting tour de force. Just remember, you aren’t actually fireproof, so while HIGHSOCIETY is setting us all on fire and smelting us to the core with his wildly impassioned electronic opus, please don’t actually set yourself on fire in the midst of the delirious ecstasy that has taken hold of you. Fireproof is so explosive, it almost needs a disclaimer. But then again, the same could be said about every other HIGHSOCIETY track we’ve shared. Combust, at your own risk. Download/stream Fireproof, here.

In case you haven’t heard, we have a superstar producer in the making right here at home in the San Francisco Bay named HIGHSOCIETY, and his music is sure to stimulate arena sized crowds into euphoric frenzies in the near future. HIGHSOCIETY has already given us a plethora of incredible remixes (be sure to check out his sick remix of AWOLNATION’s Run, here, if you haven’t already done so). Now, he stirs us up with a savage EP named Give You More, consisting of three beastly originals. The title track is a vicious electro trap and metallurgic dubstep hybrid with laser cut synths and gritty roaring bass. HIGHSOCIETY’s jostling, jogging electronic anthem is an unmerciful onslaught of adrenaline pumping, head rushing exhilaration. Check out the full EP on Soundcloud, here, and support via alternate outlets, here.

We’re totally psyched that we’re get to catch HIGHSOCIETY at LIVE 105′s BFD this Saturday at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. The festival is a tradition of sorts for me, and I can only imagine how lit it’s going to be when the San Francisco producer unleashes his high voltage music on the crowd. He stokes the flames of our excitement with a fresh remix of HONORS’ cinematic sprawling debut single, Over. The Toronto project’s synth smoldering alt/electro R&B gets a wicked future trap and laser etched dubstep makeover in HIGHSOCIETY’s dexterous hands. The whirlwind edit is explodes with oscillating synths and precipitous drops. Snag the grand and exultant thriller for free, here.

Jolting charged treats continue to roll in from San Francisco’s own scintillating HIGHSOCIETY as the budding producer gives us his take on Boston singer songwriter Adam Jensen’s excellent single The Mystic. Adam’s bristling explosion of bluesy alt pop and electro rock gets taken on a daring and fearless adventure as HIGHSOCIETY injects it with a hybrid dose of dubstep, future bass, and trap. It’s a slugging, whomping, and clobbering eruption of unruly bass and rebellious synths on this adrenaline pumping remix. Download HIGHSOCIETY’s remix of Adam Jensen’s The Mystic, here. Re-visit his recently released Controlled Chaos EP for more shiver inducing thrills, here.

Back home to San Francisco we go for sensational electronic exhilaration as dive head first into Life Hack, a gripping track from HIGHSOCIETY’s scintillating new EP, Controlled Chaos. The producer, who previously gave us some of the year’s most exhilarating remixes (ie. that AWOLNATION Run remix, wow), takes it upon himself to flawlessly fuse a full spectrum of dance genres on his blistering, warbling, and quivering track. Buried in this florid opus and hybridized as one epic saga are trap, breaks, dubstep, electro, future bass, and more. The full synthesis, though jolting and ruthless, is also mellifluous and beautiful. It tinkles with wonder even as it drills under the skin. With a melancholic gaze, Life Hack beckons us to “please stay”. Stay, we gladly shall. Download Life Hack for free, here, and listen to HIGHSOCIETY’s Controlled Chaos EP in full on Soundcloud.

Last spring, alt dance and industrial rock quintet AWOLNATION followed up on their groundbreaking debut album Megalithic Symphony with a long awaited sophomore album named Run. The solid release is chock full of incredible tunes that push the boundaries of electronic rock. The title track off Run is a dark hypnotic thriller, a steady marching yet aggro thrusting anthem. That simmer snarling tune has been remixed by a plethora of production talent,. These edits come together to form AWOLNATION’s forthcoming Run (Remixes) EP, off which comes a magnificent edit by San Francisco’s own HIGHSOCIETY. This is a hyper fueled track whose release I’ve been eagerly awaiting ever since I heard it on Bay Area radio station Live 105′s Subsonic programming. HIGHSOCIETY’s Run is gripping intense, a turbulent inferno of breakbeat, trap, and dubstep. Forget that coffee, all you need this morning is some jarring abrasive, jolting exhilarating HIGHSOCIETY. I’ve yet to take it with me on the trails, but I have a feeling HIGHSOCIETY’s adrenaline pumping remix of AWOLNATION’s Run can keep you moving for an eternity. Look out for the Run (Remixes) EP, which will also include remixes by ROBOKID, Dan The Automator, Mike D, and Steve Aoki.

Sunny Los Angeles act No Beat Fund’s Sikka Takin’ The Hard Way gets a rampantly energetic remix by San Francisco’s own HIGHSOCIETY. The production duo gives the the breezy alt jam a thorough makeover boasting much electro and progressive luminosity. Regal build ups and cathartic drops permeate the grandly sweeping edit, which premiered as part of Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat campaign.

As is often the case, I have to run off to catch some live music soon, but let’s close the share session off with a dazzling banger recommended to me by a much respected fellow music head. The rec also lead me to the wonderful discovery of a San Francisco production act named HIGHSOCIETY. High Society turns in a gratifying remix of Nashville alt quartet Five Knives’ Savages. It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a heavy hitter of this proportion on IHM, but this one will have your heart rate flying high and fast. It’s an invigorating trap, dubstep, and progressive rager that evokes a blend of Flosstradamus, Knife Party, and SHM.
