We’ve been waiting an excruciatingly long time to hear a new original from our Australian favorites, Du Tonc, so it’s with much relish that we now dive into Matt Van Schie and Mighty Mouse’s appropriately named new electronic knockout, High. The pair also announced that they’ve finished their long awaited debut album. High is an exhilarating intergalatic whirlpool, with I Know Leopard’s Jenny McCullagh on resplendent backing vocals. Its kaleidoscopic spiral is an iridescent vortex made up of spacey disco and ethereal synthwave. High, despite being a propulsive boost of pure exultant bliss, is also dipped in a pool of wistful melancholia and aching yearning. You can stream/download the polychromatic dazzler, here. We’ll be eagerly awaiting more news regarding Du Tonc’s debut album, and hoping for a tour that will bring them back to California.

Sonic highs are synonymous with Majik, the London alt R&B and chill electronic outfit whose buttery brooding, moody broiling offerings oft feel like a poignantly affecting and creamy seductive cross between The xx’s umbral soundscapes and RKCB’s soulful R&B. New slinky pacing, bass curling single High veers deeper into raw minimalism. It’s simultaneously a sizzling burner and a shadowy haunter, and it’s a gripping track from Majik’s long awaited debut EP, Under The Influence.

Of the track, the duo said, “When you find the soul of another the connection it creates can leave you both somewhat addicted. Amongst the highs our minds create there is nothing stronger than the hearts passion. This song expresses the connection of two, that takes us to a state of ecstasy”. Stream/purchase High, here.

Windy City artist, DJ, and producer IKON has gained a reputation for straddling the line between hip hop and EDM, and he’s well established in Chicago’s local scene. He lights up our radar with a riveting electronic track named High, which features soulful Los Angeles songbird AMARA and fellow Chi-Town artist L.A. VanGogh on guest vocals. High is a lavish and resplendent mixture of shuddering future bass, gritty hip hop, and fiery R&B pop from IKON’s newly revealed EP, Auragami. You can stream the six track release in full on Soundcloud, here. Aurugrami is out on iTunes, here.

It’s been a long time since we last heard from Sir Sly, and I’ve been aching for the Los Angeles band’s sooty thrumming alt rock and indie pop in the interim, having been such a fan of their 2014 debut album You Haunt Me. Today, the trio make their return with new song High, a vibrant spiraling spectacular which lead singer Landon Jacobs describes as an “upbeat anthem about ego death”. This first song from a forthcoming album even name drops Oakland. Despite its bombastic temperament, High feels intimate, like an autobiographical song written in the midst of the band’s extended touring. We get to visit that tumultuous life for a brief moment via their dark yet popping new tune. Perhaps, I’ll even get to hear this song in Oakland once that sophomore album arrives. High is available now from all major outlets, here.

Little Dragon’s new album Season High is one of my most anticipated spring albums this year, particularly after being wooed by recently revealed singles High and Sweet. The album could very well turn out to be my favorite from the Swedish outfit since 2011′s Ritual Union at this rate. Turns out, woozy intoxicating High lends itself perfectly to a droopy bumping hip hop remix. Michael Uzowuru and Jeff Kleinman turn in a gauzy chiming edit of High on which Denzel Curry and Twelve’len make guest appearances, too. The remix swiftly calls to mind Mura Masa’s wicked jams. Yukimi Nagano lead Swedish outfit Little Dragon has been a favorite of mine for close to a decade now, so my Tuesday started out unimaginably fabulous when I woke up to a brand new tune from the alt R&B and indietronica band. Little Dragon bathes us with warm swirling fog on High, a plush song whose name pretty much summarizes how it feels. The woozy slow jam is an intoxicating trip. Its surreal haze directly translates into the song’s heady music video. Yukimi even sings “feel free to roll another one for me” on the song, so they’re definitely not holding anything back in regards to the drugged out vibes on their droopy new tune. Except we don’t really need anything else to feel inebriated when we have a song like this to dissolve into completely. Along with the new song comes news of a Little Dragon tour this April that takes them from California, through Coachella, and to the East Coast, at times with Glass Animals and GoldLink. Find High on iTunes, here.

Vancouver’s VANIC straight crushes it on his latest, a remix of Los Angeles pop artist Zella Day’s High. But come to think of it, when hasn’t VANIC crushed it? From that Skinny Love remix, to his K.Flay edits, to his Major Lazer flip, VANIC has thrilled me and left me with my blood pumping at a heightened rate of euphoria each and every time. On the new High edit, VANIC utilizes massive drops and high energy trills to create a future bass High that, well, really is a walloping natural “high” in itself. This is a caffeinated VANIC we haven’t heard before, and it’s a thrill ride. Final destination? Cloud nine.

From being in love with Sydney act Ever So several months ago, thanks to debut indie electro tune Not Over You, I go to being devastatingly head over heels for the duo, thanks to new single High. I’m literally riding a natural high on the sparkling synths, lofty vocals, and uplifting melody deeply entangled within the whimsical electro pop song. High erupts with such feel good vibes with Miike Snow like production and BØRNS like sugary sweetness.

Today, Los Angeles’ talented Zella Day released her debut album, KICKER, on Pinetop Records / Hollywood Records. Let’s congratulate the compelling electronic pop artist and celebrate by letting this official remix of her song High carry us away to dramatic landscapes formed by future bass swells and dramatic flares. At the helm is Canadian production duo Kill Them With Colour, who ensnare me with their trap inspired production with its grand, pompous atmosphere.

SIVIK’s killer debut, High, has received a dizzying remix treatment from fellow Los Angeles based artist LŪC. The producer infuses High with some fittingly tweaked out airiness and a quirky, boundless bounce that enthrall and exhilarate from start to finish. There’s barely time to come up for air on the frenetic, high energy remix. It’s a bubbly Porter x Madeon concoction that also evokes plenty of Passion Pit like indie electronic goodness.
